from my perspective, its totally depansds on the population of the city, if the city is large in the numbers of peopl, the idea of building tall apartments would definetly work.for instince if we take karachi which is a huge populated city in pakistan but area of city is not suficiant enough to provide everybody the home which is the basic need of peoples as humans.so the private contractors came up with the idea of apartments or flats system and its implemented so well that karachi's biggest issue is sort of resolved.and also apartments is more ecnomical rather then buying land, although i have a strong opinion in favour of building apartments there is some major concerns too, building tall blocks is

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 250 words, stopping abruptly at only 118 words and remaining incomplete in the middle of a sentence ('building tall blocks is'). Consequently, the main position is only partially developed, and the argument cannot be fully extended or supported. While the writer attempts to address the prompt by discussing Karachi as an example of high population density requiring apartment blocks, the severe under-length restriction caps the achievement score heavily under the descriptors for Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The text lacks clear overall progression and logical paragraphing, primarily because it is presented as a single run-on block of text without proper sentence boundaries or capitalization at the beginning of sentences (e.g., 'from my perspective, its totally depansds'). Cohesive devices are minimal and mechanical, relying on basic connectors like 'if' and 'and also'. Because the response ends mid-sentence, it fails to demonstrate effective structural organization or conclusion, aligning closely with a Band 4.0 level.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with several spelling errors ('depansds', 'peopl', 'instince', 'suficiant', 'ecnomical') and word choice issues (e.g., 'huge populated city' instead of 'densely populated city'). While the writer attempts some topic-related vocabulary such as 'private contractors', 'population', and 'apartments', the frequent errors in spelling and collocation occasionally strain the reader, reflecting the characteristics of Band 4.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The student demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on run-on sentences joined by commas instead of proper punctuation or conjunctions. There are frequent errors in basic grammar, punctuation, and capitalization (e.g., lowercase 'i', missing apostrophes in 'its', subject-verb agreement issues). Because the text cuts off mid-sentence, complex structures are either absent or left incomplete, resulting in a score of 4.0.
