Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is a huge difference between city life and village life. Nowadays, people started moving towards city, started to construct their own houses in large cities for the wellbeing of their family and for enough resources and faciltations for their childern eductaion. As per as my opinion is concern, due to huge population, and every person has right to get faciltated so I do agree that the best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment block so that enough number of people could be lives in cities.
Most of the people don't like to become a part of village anymore as well as their source of income is very low that they can only afford their personal expenditures, no enough budget to pay for rent or to buy house in large city so such kind of persons can be benefited by these apartments. I think that government should have to construct such tall apartments for them so that they survive in minmum budget. If governent build tall apartments instead of covering large area, minmum pieace of land can also benefit both government and local people.
Secondly, there are some people who prefer to live in apartments especially if they are alone, disable, or too old to live alonethen this option should be best for them and such kind of people also be benefited from such kind of housing schemes. I think this is the best way and governent should have to focus on such kind of projects for the wellbeing of their nation.
Lat year, I visited europe, there are proper small houses and tall apartments i have seen there in which thousands of people are having their accomodations in low budget under the governent rules. so this is not only the responsibility of government i think all the businessman , investors also step forward in such kind of projects that should work for the welfare of nation.
According to my Prospective, i supported this statement that the best way is to provide enough houses in large cities is to build apartment blocks so that living standards in Pakistan diminishes, all the people either poor or wealthy should have same lifestyle in cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position agreeing that building tall apartment blocks is the best way to provide enough homes in large cities. The writer extends several relevant ideas, such as affordability for low-income citizens, land conservation, and catering to specific demographics like single individuals or the elderly. However, there is a tendency to over-generalize and some arguments lack deeper development or concrete elaboration, which places the response securely in the Band 6 territory. The conclusion also introduces a slightly confusing assertion about living standards diminishing in Pakistan, which slightly detracts from the overall task focus. Overall, all parts of the task are addressed, but the development remains somewhat limited.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a logical overall arrangement with paragraphing used to divide introduction, body points, and conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. The writer relies heavily on run-on sentences and comma splices rather than appropriate conjunctions or full stops (e.g., 'As per as my opinion is concern, due to huge population...'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and cohesive devices are used repetitively or inaccurately. Paragraph transitions are weak, requiring the reader to work harder to follow the progression of ideas. This level of organization and cohesive control aligns with the Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'resources and faciltations', 'housing schemes', and 'welfare of nation'. However, there is a significant presence of spelling errors ('faciltations', 'childern', 'eductaion', 'minmum', 'governent', 'accomodations', 'Prospective') and awkward word choices or collocations ('As per as my opinion is concern'). These lexical inadequacies and frequent spelling mistakes sometimes cause strain for the reader, fitting the Band 5 profile where errors are noticeable and affect precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some ambition. However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the text. There are frequent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure, such as 'people started moving towards city, started to construct', 'so that enough number of people could be lives', and 'government should have to construct'. Comma splices and fragmented thoughts are prevalent. While communication is still achieved despite these issues, the high frequency of grammatical slips prevents the score from reaching a Band 6.
