IELTS Writing Task 2 question

The best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Urbanization has always been a umberella problem leading to many others such as job insecurity, food insecuring, and a burden on housing. In order to cope with the situation it is necessary to necessary steps making large buildings is one of them. The land of a region canot be extended, if the rate of migration is increasing in the big hub cities it would become necessary to build large buildings to accomodate such a large number of individuals. For instances, New York when became a hub of bussiness it witnessed a bourgeoning trend in population. In order to address the trend of making large sky scrappers became trending, the government provided incentives to private estate builders which helped to cope with the issue. This not only made them able to cater the problem administratively but also contributed to the flow of state economy. The major benefits that could be derived from this strategy includes:

1. Accomodating large number of population in sapcious apartments instead of confining them in small homes.

2.Make adminintrative responses more better.

3.Contributes to the state economy on a greater scale.
