It is widely agreed that the massive appartment blocks build in cities. they not more place and many people live in this place and to improve the piublic facilities. In contrast thay have few disadvantages like many people feel uncomfortable around civilians.
Firstly, tall buildings has necessary to manage the growing population. because urban areas not many free spaces available therefore, to build upwards building so more people can stay there easily. For instance, tokyo or New York have build tall appartments blocks in this million people stay there. In addition, develop many tall buildings to improve the basic facilities and public transport in urban areas. Due to fact of many people live in one place so gowerment can easily control their electricity, water connection, gas suppliement and transport services. For example, those cities have more tall appertments complexes there so many markets and metero station is close to home.
Thirdly, to build many massive complexes so many people they feel uncomfortable because their privacy is affected. Moreover, a lot of people live in one place so they face traffic and not parking available and not free place nearly availble. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of tall apartment blocks, establishing a clear position in agreement with the statement. The writer attempts to support ideas with examples, such as mentioning Tokyo and New York. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. For instance, the discussion on public facilities and infrastructure is underdeveloped and lacks depth. Furthermore, the reasoning sometimes becomes unclear due to expression issues, such as the mention of people feeling uncomfortable around civilians. Because the ideas are presented in a somewhat generalized and basic manner, the response falls into the Band 5 category for Task Achievement. The main task parts are acknowledged, but the support remains restricted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The text is organized into paragraphs, attempting an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is heavily disrupted by poor cohesive devices and mechanical referencing. The writer uses simple transition words like 'Firstly,' 'In addition,' and 'Thirdly,' but these are often misapplied or fail to establish logical links. For example, 'Thirdly' is used incorrectly to introduce a counter-argument ('In contrast thay have few disadvantages...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs is frequently faulty, resulting in sentences that do not flow logically from one to the next. Pronoun referencing and substitution are weak, making the progression difficult to follow at times. This corresponds to a Band 5 level of coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and heavily restricted. The student frequently misuses common words and makes numerous spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'appartment' instead of apartment, 'piublic' instead of public, 'suppliement' instead of supplement, 'metero' instead of metro, and 'gowerment' instead of government. There are also awkward collocations and lexical inaccuracies throughout the essay, such as 'build upwards building' and 'big available'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic meaning about housing and cities, the frequent errors and lack of less common lexical items restrict the score to Band 4.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of simple and heavily flawed complex sentences. There are persistent, major errors in basic grammar, subject-verb agreement, and tense usage throughout the text. Examples include 'tall buildings has necessary', 'urban areas not many free spaces available', 'tokyo or New York have build tall appartments blocks', and 'I agreed with this statement that tall appartment complexes develop'. Sentence structures are frequently incomplete or ungrammatical, causing significant difficulty for the reader and distorting meaning in places. Punctuation is also erratic, with misplaced periods breaking up dependent clauses. These issues place the response firmly at Band 4 for grammatical range and accuracy.
