Student answer (Band 5.0)
The best way to accomodate enough homes in bigger cities in to construct sky-high apartments. I agree with this approach.
Constructing high-rise buildings in larger cities with less area to compensate larger numbers of humans needs more housing space such as, Karachi a financial hub of Pakistan having population at around 40 million with less residential land available for housing. In Karachi Pakistan, most of residential housings are in sky-high buildings such as Yousaf Plaza located near Sohrab goth main highway karachi having capacity of 500 housing apartments and it's constructed on 1000 sq ft plot.
Tall buildings apartments manages many other factors aswell for example: in metropolitian cities where parking and groceries considered biggest problem for the residentials these apartments are designed to manages these sort of problems aswell.
Sky-high buildings in capital cities provides spaces for offices in the manageable land area are required to build those offices such as Lahore Nishat tower, 200 offices are working under single roof . If we build all these offices seperately we need mass area of land which is quite not managable in bigger cities along with offices. The Nishat tower Lahore also have 150 residential apartments. Tall building apartments provides multiple facilities as compare to constructing everything seperatly.
In conclusion, the above-discussed arguments suggests many benefits to build tall apartment buildings. The sky-high buildings accomodate housings, offices resolves parking issues. Thetall buildings are most beneficals to the city humans those time-table are very tight and needs facilities on the go.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether building tall apartment blocks is the best way to provide housing, presenting a clear position in agreement. The student attempts to support this viewpoint with examples from their knowledge, specifically mentioning Karachi and Lahore. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, with over-reliance on local examples rather than a fully expanded general argument. While all parts of the task are addressed, the support remains basic and lacks the depth expected for higher bands, placing this response at Band 5.5 for Task Achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The text demonstrates a basic overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, including an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions, run-on sentences, and mechanical cohesive devices. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and sentences such as 'Thetall buildings are most beneficals to the city humans those time-table are very tight' show a lack of smooth flow. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is faulty, leading to a Band 5.0 score for Coherence and Cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student displays an adequate vocabulary range for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'metropolitan', 'financial hub', and 'residential land'. However, there are frequent errors in word formation, spelling, and collocation throughout the essay. Examples include 'accomodate' (accommodate), 'residentials' (residents), 'beneficals' (beneficial), and 'seperately' (separately). Although these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and detract from the overall quality, warranting a Band 5.0 for Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response features a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but attempts at complexity are often marred by frequent grammatical errors. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'tall buildings apartments manages'), missing prepositions, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'which is quite not managable'). Punctuation is also erratic in places. While simple sentences are generally understood, the high frequency of grammatical inaccuracies causes difficulty for the reader at times, aligning closely with the Band 5.0 descriptors for Grammatical Range and Accuracy.
