Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that, the most perceptible way to offer adequate amount of houses is to built tall apartment blocks.I completely agree with this view on the grounds that it will give equity in flexible residency to all individuals and play a vital role in sustainable society.
The primary reason why i agree is that this scheme will give equal acces to resources. When people will live in houses situated in same blocks with parallel infrastructure they can make the most of resources before they were deprived of .For instance,if an entire block is built to have flexible electricity supply then every person living in each apartment will revel this blessing. As a result of which, individuals suffering from poor living areas will get a chance for healthy lifestyle like others already facilitated with instead of becoming more victims. Therefore, impartiality will acquire that is quite significant in every aspect.
Another benefit is that it is essential for robust society. Its largerly because when people started living in houses distributing manifold resources with legality it will make them get rid of a significant amount of stress and prevent them from feeling of inferiority complex that leads directly towards anxiety so every individual will be able to identify their substantial qualities and will try to use them productively. For instance, if an individual's mental and physical health is a way too much destroyed he will not only get isolated and detach but also feels himself dull and idle instead of being productive.Consequently this idea will enhance tranquil everywhere by reducing lethal stress. Therefore a well established society will raise.
In conclusion, constructing tall houses blocks is significant way of providing satisfactory quantity of homes albeit it will cultivate impartiality and strengthen society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by taking a clear and consistent position in agreement with the prompt. The main ideas regarding equal access to resources and the psychological benefits of better housing are presented and extended. For instance, the discussion on how tall apartment blocks can foster equity in flexible residency and reduce stress provides relevant development, though some arguments feel slightly repetitive and abstract, such as the broad claims about inferiority complexes. Overall, the ideas are sufficiently supported to meet the requirements for Band 6.5, leaning towards Band 7 in terms of task coverage, but constrained by slight under-development in places.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance established in the introduction and reinforced in the conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct points, such as resource accessibility and social benefits. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. For example, the student writes 'As a result of which' and 'Its largerly because', which show awkward phrasing and incorrect transitional forms. Referencing and cohesive ties are sometimes unclear or overly repetitive ('Therefore...', 'For instance...'). These issues place the response firmly at Band 5.5 for Coherence and Cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student attempts less common vocabulary, such as 'perceptible', 'impartiality', and 'substantial', demonstrating an adequate range for the task. However, there are frequent noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'to built' instead of 'to build', 'equal acces' with a spelling error, and awkward phrases like 'revel this blessing' and 'tranquil everywhere'. Spelling errors like 'largerly' also occur. While communication is not severely impeded, these lexical inaccuracies prevent the writing from achieving a Band 6.0, capping it at Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay demonstrates an attempt at complex sentence structures, but control is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('people started living', 'he will not only get isolated... but also feels'), punctuation (missing spaces after commas and periods), and verb forms ('to built', 'equality will acquire'). Simple sentences are generally handled, but complex forms often contain errors that cause some difficulty for the reader. These issues align with the Band 5 descriptors.
