Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, the urban cities are often surrounded by upward tower buildings for accommodation rather than traditional homes. However, there are many advantages of constructing high-rise apartments from the environmental and economical point of view. From my perspective, it is highly advantageous and I am strongly agree with this point of view.
To commence with, the tall residential units are more affordable and convenient. This is because the owner has to spend less insurance and low maintenance for such suites. Whereas it is not quite possible in the traditional homes. Individual has to spend money to build detached homes which take half amount of common man income. Moreover, their is less lengthy procedure to buy a condo house as compared to home. To cite an example, in the urban cities there are a lot of paper work that need to be fulfilled before owning a property. Such procedures take years to accomplished.
Nonetheless, the tower apartments helps to contribute in natural habitats. To simplify it, residential homes are often expensive in big cities which is not affordable for every individual. But the high rise building are cost effective that helps the individual to save money. These buildings restrict the individual to do less destruction and remain in the same place. To cite an instance, tall tower buildings can accommodate hundres of families whereas the same residential homes take the big lands to accommodate the same amount of people.
the forest habitat to provide adequate spaces for individual residency.
To wrap up, although there are advantages of having detached home, but living in tall-est apartments has more benefits. It helps contribute to people economical and protect environment needs at same time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the advantages of building tall apartment blocks in large cities to provide homes, and takes a clear position in the introduction ("I am strongly agree with this point of view"). All parts of the task are covered, although the development of ideas suffers from some truncation and abrupt sentence fragments towards the end, such as "the forest habitat to provide adequate spaces for individual residency." Despite these organizational and structural disruptions, the main arguments regarding affordability, cost-effectiveness, and efficient land use are identifiable and supported by examples such as insurance savings and accommodating numerous families on less land, aligning best with a Band 6 descriptor.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear attempts at paragraphing and sequencing ideas using transition signals like "To commence with," "Moreover," and "To wrap up." However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. There are referencing and pronoun errors, such as using "their is less lengthy procedure" instead of "there is," and abrupt breaks in logical progression. Furthermore, the final body paragraph contains an isolated sentence fragment that disrupts the flow of information between paragraphs. Paragraphing is used, but transitions within and between paragraphs lack smoothness, justifying a Band 5 score.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as "accommodation," "cost-effective," and "environmental and economical point of view." However, there are noticeable word-choice, collocation, and grammatical form errors throughout the text, including "upward tower buildings," "spend less insurance," "condo house," and spelling issues like "hundres." While these lexical inaccuracies occasionally cause difficulty and require the reader to interpret the intended meaning, the overall resource is minimally adequate for communicating basic points on the topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as the direct word form error in the introduction ("I am strongly agree"), subject-verb agreement issues ("the tower apartments helps"), and missing words or ungrammatical fragments (e.g., "the forest habitat to provide adequate spaces for individual residency"). Complex structures are often faulty, and punctuation errors are present. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 5 descriptors.
