Student answer (Band 5.0)
The huge part of population of this contepmperary era is moving to big cities for employment and in result the building for accomadation is rising day by day. So, it is concluded that establishing high apartment blocks are more convinent than other options. I partially agree with this argument due to many aspects that I will discuss in the following paragraphs.
The first and foremost benefit of tall building is that a large group of people live in a small area with all facilities and the most important is the privacy which is included in this. But the individual can not drill a nail to decorate their homes by hanging paintings without taking permission. Moreover, people who lives in the tall apartments suffer from lack of Vitamin-D as their surroundings are occupy by long buildings and in result these blocks become a obstacle between sunlight and the consumer. Although, the individuals who live at top area and always use lifts for up and down always, have a fear to never stuck in the lift and never fall from rooftop. For example in metro cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and others it can be seen that that many people died due to the brakage of supporting wires in lift as it comes on the land very fastly and due to compression users lost their life.
However, government should provide employment to developing cities and rural area so the young generation do not travel to other places and live with theirs parents. Beside this, the authority should make a law against the construction of tall buildings and ensure that they are only 8-10 floors long rather tham 20 to 25 as it decrease the fallen of tower like blocks in earthquake and also save maoney which speand on maintanence.
In conclusion, these tall apartments declining the strenght of trees as well as producing noise and air pollution while construction which is harmful for all the living beings on earth. Consequently, due to this the average life of human being is declined and predicted and the life span of an individual became 40 years in next century.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the extent to which tall apartment blocks are the best solution for housing shortages in large cities. The student adopts a clear, partial position in the introduction. However, the development of ideas suffers from some overly dramatic and unsupported claims, such as individuals not being able to drill a nail, extreme sun deprivation causing health issues, and elevators crashing frequently in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi. Furthermore, the final paragraph digresses somewhat into general environmental concerns and a bizarre prediction about human life spans dropping to 40 years. While all parts of the task are touched upon, the arguments in body paragraph two and the conclusion are insufficiently logical and lack academic rigor, placing this performance firmly in Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs with a clear introduction and conclusion, demonstrating some basic organization. However, the overall progression is hindered by abrupt shifts in logic and confusing referencing. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately at times, such as 'In result', 'Beside this', and 'as it comes on the land very fastly'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal coherence of the second paragraph is particularly weak due to jumping randomly between privacy, lack of sunlight, and elevator accidents. Pronoun referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as 'their surroundings are occupy by long buildings and in result these blocks become a obstacle'. This level of mechanical and faulty cohesion reflects the descriptors for Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical range is limited and frequently marred by spelling errors and incorrect word choices. Throughout the text, there are numerous vocabulary mistakes, such as 'contepmperary' for contemporary, 'accomadation' for accommodation, 'convinent' for convenient, 'brakage' for breakage, and 'tham' for than. Collocations are often unnatural, such as 'decline the strength of trees' or 'fallen of tower like blocks'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic message, the high frequency of noticeable spelling and word-choice errors causes some difficulty for the reader and prevents the response from reaching Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing dependent clauses introduced by 'although', 'because', and 'as'. However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the essay, with frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and agreement. Examples include 'population of this contepmperary era is moving', 'people who lives in the tall apartments', 'are occupy', 'always use lifts for up and down always, have a fear to never stuck', 'money which speand', and 'these tall apartments declining'. Punctuation is also erratic in places. Because errors are frequent and occasionally impede smooth reading, the writing aligns best with the Band 5.0 descriptors.
