Student answer (Band 5.0)
The good method to provide appropiate home in big cities is to construct tall flats blocks. I completey agree with this statement. First it takes less space and also less cost will charged for tall apartments.
Firstly, Tall aparments takes less space to build. As it is build in longer length pattern than building the separate homes which will take more space and considered only as one home, Furthermore it also consideres safe as in one builing there will be many aparments of different families that will creates good relationship between one and other by being there for each other in difficult time. For example, Reports says that many people these days considered to live in apartments than living in separate home.
Secondly, It cost lesser than the separate homes. Tall aparment blocks cost 10 times lesser than the seaprate homes as for separate home separate design will be generated from engineers and separate labour will be cost for each home. which ultimately cost higher while, foe aparments which will be in one tall building all homes will be made of one design so extar separate charges for designing and also there will no separate labours. For example, In developed countires where there is fixed labour cost more separate labours will charge more money.
In conclusion, Tall aparments is more effective because it provides more homes and build on less space also cost lesser than building separate. In large cities where there is a lot of population it is considered the best way to provide homes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the extent of agreement with building tall apartment blocks to provide homes in large cities. A clear position is stated in the introduction: 'I completey agree with this statement.' The ideas are relevant, focusing on space-saving benefits and cost efficiency, and are supported with explanations and examples, such as reference to developed countries and general social benefits. However, the development is somewhat basic and repetitive in places, with sweeping generalisations such as tall apartments costing '10 times lesser'. While all parts of the task are addressed, the depth of extension places this response comfortably at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some logical organisation with a clear four-paragraph structure comprising an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Transitional markers such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion' are used to signal the progression of ideas. However, paragraphing and referencing are sometimes faulty, and cohesive devices are repetitive or awkward, as seen in phrases like 'which ultimately cost higher while, foe aparments which will be in one...'. The progression within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed, and referencing pronouns lack clarity in places, resulting in a Band 5.0 performance.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses a limited but minimally adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'population', 'developed countries', and 'apartment'. However, there are noticeable and frequent spelling errors ('appropiate', 'completey', 'aparments', 'build' instead of built, 'seaprate', 'extar', 'countires') and word-choice errors ('cost will charged', 'longer length pattern', 'cost lesser'). These lexical inaccuracies occasionally cause difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band, reflecting the descriptors for Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak. Frequent grammatical errors occur throughout the text, including tense and voice confusion ('As it is build in longer length pattern', 'labour will be cost', 'there will no separate labours'), missing articles, and awkward punctuation. Subordinate clauses and complex structures are frequently faulty. Because these errors are numerous and can cause difficulty for the reader, the grammar aligns best with the Band 5.0 descriptors.
