Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is the positive way to provide the residential to individuals is to build tall buildings in city sector blocks. I completely agreed with thos idea as it has many advantages but along with it some disadvantages.
If we build tall building apartments in some particular area of cities than it will be very beneficial for citizens. Because in a tall building, there would be number of apartments for people which will digest a lot of individuals. As there would be less rush of houses and traffic because when a large amount of individuals live on a place. It will minimize the number of houses along with traffic area.
Large and tall buildings should be able to provide gas, electricity, parking area and many more facilities. And these buildings should be nearby schools, working places and some essential markets as it is common needs of people in daily basis. These buildings should have a reasonable prices as it covers electrical, gas, parking area. So that, citizens living here can be free of tensions from budget and high prices.
There would be disadvantages in this sector is that if a large number of people will be living here than it will make the pla e more conjested and more packed. Maybe some people like more silence so it will effect them. There would be also more traffic in the parking area anx rush if there is school, college or working area nearby. A big support from government is required to overcome these issues.
Hence, at the end i think this idea should take place in support of our government. Than it will be successful.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide housing in large cities, presenting a clear position of partial agreement. The writer attempts to cover both advantages and disadvantages, mentioning benefits like space efficiency and facility proximity, alongside drawbacks such as congestion and noise. However, the ideas are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting examples. Sentences such as 'which will digest a lot of individuals' show awkward expression and confused task execution, falling short of full development. Consequently, the response aligns best with Band 5, where the task is addressed, but ideas remain limited and partially obscure.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with an introduction, body paragraphs addressing pros and cons, and a conclusion. However, progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing sentence linking. For instance, paragraphs lack clear thematic unity, jumping abruptly between ideas such as building facilities and apartment pricing. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, as seen with 'Hence, at the end i think', which reflects mechanical transitions. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal logical links are often weak, leading to a score of 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms like 'big', 'place', and 'people'. There are several noticeable word choice and collocation errors that hinder precision, such as 'residential to individuals' instead of 'housing', 'digest a lot of individuals' instead of 'accommodate many people', and 'conjested' with a spelling error. The writer attempts less common vocabulary like 'disadvantages', 'government', and 'facilities', but the range remains limited and minimally adequate for the task. This performance warrants a band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text relies heavily on basic sentence structures alongside frequent attempts at complex sentences that are often faulty and ungrammatical. Examples of significant structural and agreement errors include 'It is the positive way to provide the residential to individuals is to build...', 'thos idea', 'than it will be', and 'a number of apartments... which will digest'. Punctuation is basic, and capitalization errors occur throughout the text (e.g., 'i think'). These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader, placing the response firmly at Band 5.0.
