Student answer (Band 4.5)

Nowdays, Every matro cities gradullay doing extreme growth in major sectors however the major factor is in matro cities the residencial areas are lesser than the commericial areas. However as per me the best way to provide homes to a individuals who wants lives in matro cities and want to buikd family and doing work is that government and builders should start build the tall building with tiny rooms. Now we discuss the main reasons in further passages.

Firstly, In every state or city there are limited land and in each land eqaully commerical and residencial buidings builed by real estate agency and goverment but however commericals building have more role rather than living space . however goverment should starts the build tall building with the necessary precautions atleats with the floors 15-20 and make tiny apartments so easily individuals can live with their space because finding perfect apartment in matro cities more difficult rather than finding work place. Build Tall building with necessary insurance and safety that over the next future years building should stay enough steady.

Secondly, Government and builders who build tall apartments should take a precautions for furture with the help of engeeners that major natural resoruces like earthquakes and mansoon fluid did not harm the building also minus point if the elevators is not working in high raise buildings so individuals have to suffer it from that especially old age people and other who have several health problems so as per that electric enetities should always make updated by goverment and by society committee who handle it.

To conclude , as per my tall aparments have enough space for individuals however the natural resources and with less entitnies is still not as good decision.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts to address the prompt regarding whether building tall apartment blocks is the best solution for providing homes in large cities. The writer takes a clear, albeit somewhat contradictory, position that tall buildings with tiny rooms are necessary due to limited land and commercial expansion. However, the ideas are underdeveloped and lack strong, specific supporting evidence or examples. While the writer touches upon important sub-themes such as safety, natural disasters, and infrastructure like elevators, the arguments remain quite superficial and repetitive. The conclusion also introduces confusion regarding whether tall apartments are a good decision or not, muddying the overall stance. Consequently, the task response aligns with Band 5, as the ideas are limited and the development is incomplete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays some overall organization, attempting a traditional structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, paragraphing is somewhat problematic; the transition words used, such as 'Nowdays,' 'However as per me,' and 'Now we discuss,' are overly conversational, mechanical, or awkward. Cohesive devices are frequently inaccurate or inadequate, and referencing is often unclear (e.g., 'so easily individuals can live with their space because...'). The logical progression between sentences within paragraphs is disjointed, making it occasionally difficult to follow the writer's line of reasoning. There is no clear overall progression of ideas, resulting in a score of 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The student's vocabulary is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms such as 'cities,' 'buildings,' and 'people.' There are numerous word choice and collocation errors throughout the text, such as 'matro cities' (metro cities), 'gradullay doing extreme growth' (experiencing rapid growth), 'residencial' (residential), 'commericial' (commercial), and 'mansoon fluid' (monsoon floods/flooding). Spelling mistakes are also common (e.g., 'buikd', 'builed', 'atleats', 'eneptities'). While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic meaning, the noticeable errors and limited range restrict the score to a Band 4.5, which rounds to 4.5 or 5.0 depending on the exact descriptor matching; here, Band 4.5 is appropriate due to the density of lexical errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The student attempts some complex sentence structures, but these attempts are consistently faulty and lead to severe grammatical errors. Examples include 'However as per me the best way to provide homes to a individuals who wants lives in matro cities and want to buikd family and doing work is that...' which suffers from serious subject-verb agreement issues ('a individuals', 'wants lives', 'want to buikd') and run-on structure. Punctuation is also poorly handled, with missing apostrophes, unnecessary commas, and erratic capitalization. Simple sentences frequently contain errors, and errors are frequent enough to cause significant difficulty for the reader. This performance aligns with the Band 4 descriptors.
