Student answer (Band 5.0)
The better way to construct a tall appartment blocks in large cities instead of homes. due to some extent i agree with this statement.
In my opinion some people lived in a very compact plot wihch is very hard for them, to minimize the space a lots of peoples live in one appartment building.
Moreover, appartment blocks usually offers homes in lower price then home on land. One benefit is this and the other is when you buy blocks in appartment it will be more safe then home alone beacuse, mostly in appartments the security gaurds is provided. there are some facilities which is electricity and water connection is very well managable, furthermore you feel safe in appartment due to living more peoples are also in the blocks.
However, i am disagree from this statement due to the fact that when those people who want to lived alone and more isolated person and do not want to live with family so those people should live in a solitary atmosphere. Because, the noise cause irritation and disturbance.
In conclusion, government should implement the urban-plaining and scheme which involove building and tall appartments blocks in large cities. in doing so, yhe percentage of homeless people decreased rapidly, and the houses will be also provided for isolated people which is a very huge alteration. Not only that, the productivity of cities will improve and boost the economy level of the country. besides this the people will be safe in thier homes and have no any problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes in large cities. The writer takes a partial position, noting both advantages such as space efficiency and affordability, and disadvantages such as noise and the need for solitary living. However, the ideas are relatively undeveloped and lack deeper elaboration. For instance, the discussion on security and utilities in apartment blocks is presented in a somewhat repetitive list-like manner. While all parts of the task are touched upon, the arguments remain somewhat superficial and lack fully extended supporting examples from the writer's knowledge or experience, placing this response at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response shows an attempt at organization with paragraph breaks separating the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, the overall progression is disrupted by mechanical and sometimes inaccurate use of cohesive devices, such as 'Moreover', 'One benefit is this and the other is', and 'besides this'. Paragraphing is visibly weak, as the third paragraph crams multiple disparate ideas together without clear internal logic. Referencing and pronoun use are frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of arguments smoothly. This corresponds to a Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple words like 'home', 'house', 'people', and 'apartment'. There are notable word-choice and spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'appartment', 'wihch', 'peoples', 'gaurds', 'managable', and 'plaining'. Less common lexical items are attempted but are used inaccurately, such as 'solitary atmosphere' or 'huge alteration'. These errors and the limited range of vocabulary cause occasional strain for the reader, placing the lexical resource component firmly at Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on minimal adequacy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. The majority of complex sentence attempts are heavily flawed, featuring severe structural errors, incorrect prepositions, and improper subject-verb agreement, such as 'The better way to construct a tall appartment blocks', 'due to some extent i agree', and 'when those people who want to lived alone and more isolated person... so those people should live'. Punctuation is also erratic, with run-on sentences and incorrect comma splices. Frequent grammatical errors impede communication in several places, which aligns with the Band 4.5 descriptors, rounded to 5.0.
