It is often argued that vertical urbanization like tall buidling apartments is the best solution to provide sufficient homes for individuals living in large cities and i fully agree to this statement becuase vertical urbanization is an effective solution to achieve sustainability and a good approach to tackle the problem of house shortages.
Firstly, vertical construction is very beneficial for the developing cities, as it only requires minimal space in order to accommodate large number of individuals. People can easily live in those structures, as they are made to remain sustainable for residents and they provide every facilities for there residents. For instance, layout of cities like tokyo and New york are based on this concept of vertical construction, as there are variety of buildings constructed which provides various facilities and they have a large capacity to accommodate residents.
Secondly, constructing tall building is a very effective solution to conserve natural habitats and agricultural land, as less area will be taken by these buildings due to which agricultural land will be preserved and it will ultimately contribute in the success of a country. Moreover, animals and plants will remain safe, as there will be less chances of deforestation, which also be very advantageous for the enviroment.
In conclusion, government should consider this approach for the betterment of society and enviroment, as it will be very valuable for the population as well as plants and animals. So they should take serious measures in order to promote this trend of vertical urbanization.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position on vertical urbanization, agreeing that tall apartment blocks are the best solution for large cities. The main ideas are relevant and supported, notably regarding spatial efficiency and the preservation of natural habitats and agricultural land, as seen when mentioning how 'less area will be taken by these buildings'. However, some ideas remain slightly under-developed or general, such as the brief reference to Tokyo and New York without specific elaboration on how they successfully implement tall buildings. To reach a higher band, the response would need to extend and support all arguments more thoroughly with deeper explanations and more detailed examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear, logical progression of ideas from introduction to body paragraphs and conclusion. Each paragraph has a discernible focus, starting with an introduction of the stance, moving to space-saving benefits and habitat conservation, and ending with a summary. Cohesive devices are employed to connect ideas, such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion', though referencing and cohesion can occasionally feel mechanical or repetitive. To achieve a higher level, the use of cohesive devices could be smoother and more varied, and referencing across sentences could be handled with greater subtlety to ensure seamless progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, successfully conveying the writer's arguments about urbanization and sustainability with terms like 'vertical urbanization', 'sustainable', 'accommodate', and 'deforestation'. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, but these are accompanied by noticeable word-choice, spelling, and word-form errors, such as 'buidling' instead of buildings, 'house shortages' instead of housing shortages, and 'provide every facilities for there residents'. While these errors do not impede overall communication, they prevent the lexical score from rising higher. To improve, the writer should focus on spelling accuracy, natural collocations, and precise word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like subordinate clauses in sentences such as 'as it only requires minimal space in order to accommodate large number of individuals.' There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles ('layout of cities', 'success of a country') and minor agreement issues, but these errors rarely impede communication and do not obscure the intended meaning. To reach the next band, the writer needs to incorporate a wider variety of complex structures with greater control, resulting in a higher frequency of error-free sentences.
