In large cities, tall apartments are built everywhere. Because of the suitable working conditions, increasing population and so on.
Nowadays the number of apartments are gradually increasing in cities. Because the population of cities are also increasing. Since, there are less opportunity in villages people come to city for searching work or job. As a result they have to stay in the city and day by day the quantity of building apartments are rising. Additionally, population of the cities are increasing. For example, in Dhaka city, the number of large buildings are huge. Because people are staying at Dhaka for their living purpose. Thus, they have to leave their own home. As a result, the city is becoming more congested. There are large buildings everywhere and the screnery of nature becomes rare in the city. So people had to go to a long distance from the city to enjoy the fresh air of the nature. Since it is a great problem for us, we are gradually loosing the beauty of our environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
Your response addresses the topic only partially and suffers from a major length penalty, as it falls significantly short of the required 250 words, totaling only 196 words. While you attempt to discuss the prompt concerning tall apartment blocks in large cities, your position remains unclear and undeveloped. Rather than directly evaluating whether tall apartment blocks are the best solution for providing enough homes, the essay drifts into repetitive descriptions of urban congestion and environmental loss, such as 'the screnery of nature becomes rare'. Ideas are limited and lack the necessary extension, examples, and support expected for this task, keeping the response at a basic level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The text demonstrates some basic organization with introductory and concluding remarks, but it lacks a clear overall progression. Paragraphing is poorly handled, with the main body lumped into a single, dense block of text that makes it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of arguments. Cohesive devices are used very mechanically and repetitively, relying heavily on simple transitions like 'Because', 'As a result', and 'Additionally'. Furthermore, referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the pronoun 'they' in 'they have to leave their own home', which creates confusion regarding whether it refers to villagers or city dwellers.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is limited and basic, yet minimally adequate for communicating simple ideas about cities and populations. You make noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as writing 'for searching work or job' instead of 'to search for a job' and using 'quantity of building apartments' instead of 'number of apartment buildings'. There are also spelling errors like 'loosing' instead of 'losing' and 'bety' in the conclusion. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they reflect a restricted lexical range that struggles to handle abstract or precise discussion of urban housing issues.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response features a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences joined by basic conjunctions. When you attempt more complex forms, errors become frequent. There are notable issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'the number of apartments are' and 'population of the cities are', both of which require singular verbs. Article usage is also problematic, as seen in phrases like 'come to city' and 'stay at Dhaka'. Punctuation and sentence boundaries show weakness, with several sentence fragments introduced by 'Because' standing alone as separate sentences, which causes difficulty for the reader.
