In modren life, homes in large cities are becoming increasingly important. Nowdays, many people believe that building homes in tall apartment blocks is a positive trend. While some argue that it may lead to several problems. I believe that its benefits far outweigh its disadvantages. In this essay, I will explain the reasons for my opinion.
There are several reasons why i hold this view. The primary reason is that building homes in tall apartment will occupy small space, For example tall apartment building is vertically large and horizantlly short where building can occupy short space. Moreover, it provides additional advantages, such as the rents and prices of the apartments are low, where people can easily afford. In other words building homes in tall apartment blocks places people in a better favorable position to improve their quality of life, achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being.
Another significant point is that, building homes in tall apartments is not only effect individuals but also has a considerable impact on society as a whole. For example High-rise buildings can make public transport more efficient because a large number of residents live in a small area. Furthermore, its positive influence extends to both society and economy, making it an important issue that deserves careful consideration. This is why many people support it.
To conclude, Although homes in a tall apartment blocks have a few minor drawbacks, Its advantages are far more significant. Therefore, I believe that it is a trend that should be welcomed with caution.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position on whether tall apartment blocks are the best solution for urban housing. You put forward relevant ideas, such as space-saving benefits and efficient public transport, which correspond to the requirements of the prompt. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For instance, your point about space-saving in the second paragraph relies on repetitive phrasing rather than being fully extended with specific examples or deep explanation. To move to a higher level, you should ensure that all main arguments are equally elaborated with substantial supporting details and broader implications.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion, making your overall stance easy to follow. You use basic paragraphing effectively to separate your main arguments. Nevertheless, the cohesion within and between sentences is sometimes mechanical or faulty. For example, your use of transitional markers like 'Moreover' and 'Another significant point' helps structure the text, but referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the pronoun use in 'its positive influence'. To achieve a higher score, you need to employ a wider range of cohesive devices more fluidly and ensure that logical relationships between sentences are always smooth and natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'well-being' and 'considerable impact'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that detract from precision, including spelling mistakes like 'modren' and 'Nowdays', and awkward collocations such as 'horizantlly short'. Additionally, some phrases are repetitively constructed, which limits flexibility. To elevate your lexical score, you must work on accurate spelling, refine your word choices for greater precision, and reduce reliance on basic everyday vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
Your writing displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating that you can construct multi-clause sentences such as 'While some argue that it may lead to several problems, I believe that its benefits far outweigh its disadvantages.' There are some errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text, including fragment sentences like 'While some argue that it may lead to several problems.' and issues with article usage and prepositions, such as 'in tall apartment'. Fortunately, these errors rarely impede communication. To reach a higher band, you should aim for a greater proportion of error-free complex sentences and tighten your control over punctuation and minor grammatical patterns.
