Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowaday as population increases the need of house or shelter also increased. It is believed that to fullfill this necessories we need to build many floor apartments. I realy agree with this piont because it give us a plenty of space and also contribute to reduce the deforestration.
Looking into more details, if we build many portion at the same place it increase the space many time, which fullfill the requirment homes. Moreover, it also decrease the ratio poor homeless people. For example, when people move to a new place like developed areas, the magority is facing the accomodation facilities. Sometime the fare of appertment is very high and othertime they don't have space to give the new people accomodation. High buldings can solved this problem singnficantly.
On the other hand, building tall apartment can contribute the reduction of deforstation dramaticaly. If alot of space is avalible at a same place , we don't need more to cut tree and build new house. For example, if many people live in a sinle place and don't build seperate houses for their accomodation, it make our environment healthy and reduce the bad disease by forestration. This factors realy supportive for atmosphera and healthy life style.
Apart from that, Some people feel unconfortable in tall appartment, because of his nature , disablity of climb the stairs and feel bad in community. This factor is obviously not beneficial for there, they still need a seperate low appartments.
Overall, this is the best statergy to fullfil the home requirnment. in developed areas but that is not suitable for some people still.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task and presents a clear position throughout, agreeing with the statement that tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes. However, the development of ideas is uneven. While the second and third paragraphs attempt to support the main argument by discussing space efficiency and the reduction of deforestation (e.g., 'If alot of space is avalible at a same place , we don't need more to cut tree'), these ideas are somewhat repetitive and under-developed. The counter-argument in the fourth paragraph touches upon individual preferences and disabilities, but it remains brief and lacks full extension. Consequently, the ideas are relevant, but certain sections lack the depth required to push the response into higher bands.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing, dividing the introduction, body arguments, counter-argument, and conclusion. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. The student uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Looking into more details', 'On the other hand', and 'Apart from that', but the logical progression between sentences is occasionally hindered by abrupt transitions and referencing issues. For example, pronouns like 'this' or 'his' do not always clearly refer to the intended antecedent, such as in the sentence 'Some people feel unconfortable in tall appartment, because of his nature'. Paragraphs are distinguishable, but the internal flow needs more refined cohesive links.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, providing enough range to communicate basic points about housing and the environment. The student attempts less common vocabulary, such as 'deforestration', 'accomodation', and 'statergy', but these attempts are accompanied by notable spelling errors ('Nowaday', 'fullfill', 'necessories', 'realy', 'piont', 'magority', 'appertment', 'buldings', 'singnficantly', 'avalible', 'sinle', 'unconfortable', 'statergy') and word-choice inaccuracies ('reduce the bad disease by forestration'). These lexical inadequacies and frequent spelling mistakes mean the vocabulary remains limited in precision and control, though communication is generally maintained.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex structures through conditional clauses (e.g., 'if we build many portion at the same place it increase the space many time'). However, these attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in grammar and punctuation, including subject-verb agreement issues ('the need of house or shelter also increased', 'this factors realy supportive'), missing articles ('in developed areas'), incorrect pluralisation, and preposition use. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur regularly and demonstrate limited control over more intricate grammatical patterns.
