Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

Your response responds to the task only minimally. You have not met the minimum length requirement of 250 words, as your text contains only 140 words. While you briefly touch upon the prompt by stating that tall apartment blocks are suitable for couples, students, and new marriages rather than large families, your position is not fully explained or extended. To reach a higher level, you need to write a complete essay of at least 250 words, providing well-developed arguments and relevant examples regarding the advantages and disadvantages of tall apartment blocks in large cities.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

The information and ideas are not arranged coherently. The entire response is written as a single, long run-on sentence without proper paragraphing, punctuation, or capitalization at the beginning of sentences and proper nouns. There is a lack of logical progression, and cohesive devices are virtually absent, making the flow difficult to follow. For instance, transitioning abruptly from discussing students to your personal opinion ("my opinion is if one day I lived soule...") lacks structural markers. To improve, you must organise your writing into clear paragraphs (introduction, body, conclusion) and use basic cohesive devices to connect your ideas logically.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use basic and repetitive vocabulary, and there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that strain the reader. Examples of errors include "pepoel" for people, "bigs" for big, "imposible" for impossible, "logicaly" for logically, "rein" for rent, "soule" for solo, and "futur" for future. Your vocabulary range is limited to everyday words like "big", "home", "apartment", and "good idea". To achieve a higher score, you need to incorporate a wider range of less common vocabulary and ensure that your spelling and word forms are accurate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

Your writing shows a very limited range of grammatical structures, and errors are frequent throughout the text, sometimes distorting meaning. You rely heavily on simple clauses linked repetitively by conjunctions like "because" and "but" without proper terminal punctuation. There are multiple issues with verb forms, infinitives, and prepositions, such as "is tu build" instead of 'is to build', "its imposible to living" instead of 'it is impossible to live', and "decided married" instead of 'decided to get married'. To improve, you must practice using full sentences with correct punctuation, varied sentence structures, and accurate verb tenses.
