Student answer (Band 5.5)
In developed cities the fantastic idea to make the long buildings with the multiple floors so everyone gets the place to live in. For some instant this is best idea but not applicable for everyone.
I am strongly agree with this method because this way we can accommodate many families in one building. It will not occupy the all space of the land, Real estate companies are really focused on this type of design as they can provide many facilities to all person who are living in the area. Community is also feels relaxed as they get everything on a few step.As we are growing we need space to live happily and peacefully. People can use lifts and easily reach to their floor instead of stairs. There is proper place to use the wheelchair so easily accessible for those who cant walk.A single home will occupy more area and provide living for only few people.
Contrarily few drawback of this design is there, few elderly person don’t want to live in congested areas, they need more fresh air. If there is any issue in the elevator how they can use the stairs and go to there floors. For the management we need proper team to check and manage everything in the building. We need to be more concerned about the cleaning.
In the conclusion i can say it needs to be managed properly like townhouse , tall buildings ,small homes or villas so people can enjoy their life according to their choice

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by expressing an opinion on whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide housing in large cities. However, the development of ideas remains limited and under-developed throughout the essay. While the writer mentions relevant points such as accommodating multiple families, saving land space, and potential drawbacks like a lack of fresh air for elderly residents, these points are stated briefly rather than extended and supported with clear explanations or robust examples. The position is stated, but the arguments lack the depth required to explore the issue fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation evident in the text, as the writer attempts to introduce the topic, present supporting arguments, discuss counterarguments, and provide a conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the logical transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. Cohesive devices are basic and occasionally inaccurate, such as 'For some instant' and 'Contrarily few drawback', which leads to mechanical cohesion. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal paragraph structure lacks smooth connections, making the overall arrangement somewhat disjointed for the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'accommodate', 'real estate', and 'congested areas', but these attempts are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice and word formation, such as 'make the long buildings' instead of 'construct tall buildings', and 'all space' instead of 'all the space'. Spelling and word-choice inaccuracies occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader, and repetitive phrasing restricts the precision and flexibility of the lexical range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside attempts at complex structures that are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing or incorrect articles ('the fantastic idea', 'to make the long buildings'), preposition errors ('reach to their floor', 'on a few step'), and subject-verb agreement issues ('Community is also feels'). These frequent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader, reflecting a need for tighter control over basic and complex grammatical patterns alike.
