Student answer (Band 5.0)

After industrial revolution and progressive approch in different small industries, their is growth in urban population which becomes challenging for government to provide homes to the peoples who becomes involved in any kind of jobs. Government need to paired a proper infrastructure that utilise less space and improved quality of life.

The main reason i agree with this view of to build tall apartment blocks. This is because vertical upward apartment space provides thousands of peoples residence in small occupied region where in case of single family may be occcupied. In this way of planning have positive effect on farmland area is that less farmland area is in construction for the apartment builidings and less transportation also main quality of ecosystem, It becomes also beneficial for governments for their services in transportation in schools, hospitals and shopping malls. Accurately planning and high quality tall buildings also less economical as compared to single homes. These kind of buildings also in proper infrastructure to decrease communication gaps with families.

Another reason to agree with this statement single houses spaces are less friendly and more space will be occupied, Government burdens with more economical pressure to provide facilities in that kind of case.

In my views high quality tall apartments are create more convenient environment because all peoples provide homes with similar facilities in every way as compared to single private homes which demands more resources that becomes difficult option for the government. Resources helps to government to develop ecomomical growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing an agreement with building tall apartment blocks, but it does so only partially. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response is slightly under the minimum word count of 250 words. The student attempts to present ideas such as saving farmland and aiding government infrastructure, but these points remain limited and under-developed due to insufficient elaboration and weak supporting examples. The position is stated, but the lack of fully developed arguments and the failure to reach the required word count keep this aspect of the writing at the current level.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation with attempts at paragraphing, but there is no clear overall progression throughout the essay. Cohesive devices are used rather inadequately or repetitively, such as the recurring use of 'This is because' and 'Another reason to agree'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, for instance when linking ideas across sentences like 'In this way of planning have positive effect on farmland area is that...'. To move to a higher band, the writer would need to ensure a smoother logical flow between paragraphs and use a wider variety of cohesive devices more accurately.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey basic concepts related to urbanisation and housing. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling, such as 'approch' instead of approach, 'peoples' instead of people, 'builidings', and 'ecomomical' instead of economic. These lexical errors sometimes cause difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to incorporate a wider range of less common vocabulary with greater precision in word formation and collocation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing shows a very limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, such as in the opening sentence 'After industrial revolution and progressive approch in different small industries, their is growth in urban population which becomes challenging...'. There are frequent errors in basic grammar, including missing or incorrect articles, subject-verb agreement issues ('their is growth', 'peoples provide homes'), and awkward prepositional phrases. These frequent errors cause strain for the reader. Incorporating a greater variety of error-free complex structures would be necessary to improve this score.
