Many people argue about the providing adequate homes in major cities is by the construction of vertical apartments. The essay completely agree with the passage. Apartment will provide easy management of population and it will also resolve the problem of authorities to manage land that required to accomodate large amount of people.
Firstly, the tall building style apartments resolve the requirements of home for many persons, who are looking for a better place to live in the major city. For example, the city like karachi where space is very limited due to over population, this idea of tall building will resolve that issue.
Secondaly, the government can manage the land more accurately rather planning and adjusting there citizen. Additionally, the land prizes are very high in metropolitan cities as compared to rural areas, which also resolve due to appratment building becuase they are much affordable than the purchasing land and build a own house.
To conclude that, the apartment will resolve the concerns of both either the government or the people who living there by provding them better place to live in cheap rates, so the government should prepare the more appartments to resolve that issue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing an opinion on whether tall apartment blocks are the best solution for urban housing, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the mention of Karachi and land prices is brief and lacks sufficient expansion. Furthermore, the response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 250 words, stopping short at 196 words, which restricts the depth of the argument. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to extend supporting points with more detailed explanations, concrete examples, and fully develop a consistent position throughout a longer text.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is a basic logical progression in the text, signalled by transition phrases like 'Firstly', 'Secondaly', and 'To conclude that'. However, paragraphing is somewhat basic, and referencing is not always clear, such as the ambiguous pronoun use in 'this issue'. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or mechanical, which disrupts the natural flow of ideas. To improve coherence and cohesion, the writer should ensure smoother transitions between sentences, use referencing more precisely to connect ideas across paragraphs, and organise the argument with greater clarity.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to communicate the basic argument about urban housing. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling, such as 'accomodate', 'Secondaly', 'appratment', and 'becuase'. These errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. The writer attempts some less common terms like 'metropolitan cities', but accuracy is lacking. To achieve a higher band, the student must expand their lexical range, master word forms and spelling, and use more precise vocabulary related to urban planning without frequent errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentence forms. Attempts at more complex structures frequently result in faulty grammar, such as 'Many people argue about the providing adequate homes... is by the construction' and 'rather planning and adjusting there citizen'. Frequent errors in prepositions, article usage, and subject-verb agreement are present throughout the essay and can cause difficulty for the reader. To improve in this area, the writer needs to practise forming complex sentences accurately, ensure correct prepositions within grammatical patterns, and reduce basic structural errors.
