Student answer (Band 5.5)

There is a prevailing opinion among the people residing in high rise buildings is that, to accomodate all individuals with their homes is to construct tall apartments and satisfy the residencial needs.

I acknowledge with the assertion mentioned above. From a practical standpoint, I belong to the fourth largest city of the world, that's Karachi. Undobtedly, I have witnessed such a huge number of sky scrapers and tall buildings even reaching upto 60+ floors. Moreover, building these high rise portions have notable benefits.

To prefer living in buildings / apartments surpassed the commercial and residential advantages rather than opting homes / villas as the first choice. Primarly, being a resident of buildings bring you a peaceful community of citizens, a gated society, and regular maintenance of your residency.

Talking about the living experience of tall apartments / buildings, it's enjoyable for people to spend their precious time with other residents endulging in sports and craft activities, festivals, and much more to do. These fostering justifications serve as a bedrock for a well structured and peaceful community. People from buildings / apartments tend to stay stress of finding parking spots and road side noise pollution.

To conclude, it's evident that, it's better to bet your wealth at buying your next home in high and tall buildings where merely other people have access to your property. As the world is facing surge rise in the humans population, people shall emphasize more and more about living in tall apartment blocks. Doing this will definitely fullfill the land-to-people proportion and provide various living oppoetunities for everyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the task partially by discussing the statement regarding tall apartment blocks, presenting a clear position that you agree with the assertion. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, when you mention personal experiences living in Karachi or the benefits of a peaceful community, the points are stated rather than thoroughly extended with deep explanation or concrete examples. To move to a higher level, you need to ensure that every main idea is fully explored with well-supported arguments and more detailed elaboration rather than relying on brief generalizations.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some basic organization present in the text, with paragraphs attempting to separate different points, such as community benefits and personal lifestyle. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the logical flow between sentences and paragraphs is occasionally disjointed. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or awkward, as seen in transitions like 'To prefer living in buildings / apartments surpassed the commercial and residential advantages', which obscure the logical relationship between ideas. Paragraphing is used, but internal cohesion requires better referencing and smoother logical links to guide the reader effortlessly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited in range, though minimally adequate to communicate the basic meaning of your arguments. There are noticeable lexical errors, such as spelling mistakes ('accomodate', 'residencial', 'Undobtedly', 'Primarly', 'endulging', 'oppoetunities'), incorrect word forms ('stress' instead of 'stressed'), and awkward word choices or collocations ('bet your wealth at buying'). These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a vocabulary that is restricted in style and precision. Expanding your range of vocabulary and carefully checking spelling and word combinations will greatly enhance this criterion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a very limited range of structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the response, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('There is a prevailing opinion... is that', 'bringing you'), faulty preposition usage ('stay stress of finding'), and awkward clause structures ('that's Karachi'). These frequent errors can cause strain for the reader. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence patterns, ensuring correct verb forms, and minimizing errors in punctuation and grammatical agreement.
