Student answer (Band 5.0)
Their is a good idea to urange high number of homes by building horizonatl apartments rethir than vertical homes.
Firsly their are is no land available to build the homes if we are going to build not towers for residance there will be less space of agricultural which effect on over all community. There is good idea to build tall apartment blocks for the public specially in cities, Other wise cities will grow very fast and everyone would love to have there own land to build the house.
Secoundly there is an envoiremental effect, if we focous to build home on land not the towar we have to cut trees which means we are going against the envoiremant. we should focous on the overall envoiremental raither than personal benifits.
Third reason is most of the people those lives in cities they are shifted from small towns or villeges they are use to live in open space, that's why they love to build their own houses which effect on others.
There is number of people they have mind set that if we are not building our own personal house it will not suits us to live in apartment and they are not like to adjust in small apartment with family they have another concern about the security and privacy.
In my personal prespective, There should be towers in the cities it will conjust the land and stop cities to grow more and more. Moreover Trees are more important in the big cities to clean air and maintain the envoirment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a position in favour of tall apartment blocks, and the points about preserving agricultural land, reducing pressure for cities to spread, and accommodating people who prefer houses show relevant engagement with the topic. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says “horizonatl apartments rethir than vertical homes,” which appears to oppose tall blocks, while the conclusion supports them. Several points are also asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that people moving from villages want their own houses is not connected clearly to whether towers are the best solution. State your view directly in the introduction, then develop two or three reasons with specific explanations or examples and address the drawbacks of high-rise living.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable sequence, with points introduced by “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Third reason,” followed by a concluding opinion. This gives the reader some sense of structure. However, progression is weakened by unclear links between ideas and by paragraphing that does not separate the main arguments effectively. The first section moves from land availability to city growth and personal houses without showing how each point supports your position. “Moreover” introduces trees in the conclusion, although this idea was already discussed, and “There is number of people” does not clearly connect to the preceding point. Organise each paragraph around one reason, use clear references, and explain the relationship between each claim and your overall argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “agricultural,” “security,” “privacy,” and “environmental,” and you refer to relevant concepts such as land use and air quality. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or repetitive word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “urange,” “horizonatl,” “rethir,” “conjust,” and repeated forms of “envoirement.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “conjust the land” and “it will not suits us.” Build a reliable set of accurate terms for urban housing and land use, and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise collocations such as “put pressure on land” or “urban sprawl” rather than translating ideas word by word.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences using clauses introduced by “if,” “which,” and “that's why,” so there is an effort to move beyond simple statements. However, the range remains limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, making relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “if we are going to build not towers for residance there will be less space of agricultural” has problems with clause structure and article use, while “most of the people those lives in cities they are shifted” has errors in relative-clause construction and subject–verb agreement. Sentence boundaries and capitalization are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
