Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some People think that is the better way to make a lot of homes in huge cities is to build multiple apartment ,While the other People are against this idea. From my Perspective i agree with providing enough homes in huge cities and constructe tall apartement.
Primary, as we all know that the numbers of People around the world is going in a significant trend specially in Asian countries,Because theres billions of Humans There and if we dont Provide new Blocks Communities will not find a place for living. For instance, i was last Year in China and i see Their huge numbers ,Moreover i see In Shanghai some Homeless that they dont have any homes to live in ,even its a huge city and the ecomic one in China they still have this issue despite of the place of this Country.
Secondly,Staticlly said this past two Years that all Families have at least three Childreen in each home and the number of People that they are willing to make new Kids Enhance significantly Year after Year that's why its a huge need to build this and provide new apartment blocks.at this case i can take an example from my Hometown and its a huge Country near than the Capital of Morocco where i can consider a huge need of homes ,Literally some new Families dont find apartment in order to seek stability and have kids. On top of that , my sister is married and she want to have Babies but she cant make them due to she dont have a home and she still staying with us in Father's Home.
In Summary , theres a big need in huge cities thats why the people of Gonverment and specially real estate responsibles do something to provide more homes for humanity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is broadly clear: you support building tall apartment blocks, and both body paragraphs give reasons related to housing demand. The examples about Shanghai and your sister’s difficulty finding a home make the issue concrete. However, the response only partly addresses the specific claim that tall blocks are the best way to provide enough homes. It focuses mainly on population growth and the need for housing, without explaining why high-rise apartments are preferable to alternatives such as expanding suburbs or renovating existing buildings. Some claims, such as the statement that families have at least three children, are asserted rather than supported. Develop the comparison and explain how apartment blocks can accommodate more residents in limited urban space.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In Summary” help signal the main stages, and each body paragraph broadly focuses on housing demand. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the Shanghai example moves from population size to homelessness and then to the country’s economy without clearly connecting these points. Several linking expressions, including “Moreover” and “On top of that,” are added where the relationship between ideas is not fully explained. The conclusion introduces government and real-estate responsibilities but does not clearly restate the argument. Use clearer topic sentences and make each example explicitly support the point about tall apartment blocks.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “apartment blocks,” “homeless,” “stability” and “provide more homes,” so the reader can generally understand your central concern. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “huge,” “home” and “People.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “constructe,” “apartement,” “Staticlly” and “Gonverment,” which can distract the reader. Some expressions are not natural in context, for example “the ecomic one in China” and “make new Kids.” Build a more precise set of housing and urban-planning terms, and check spelling and collocations carefully when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “if we dont Provide new Blocks Communities will not find a place for living.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the numbers of People … is going” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “i see Their huge numbers” shifts tense and has unclear reference. In “my sister is married and she want to have Babies but she cant make them,” the verb forms and clause punctuation need correction. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, tense and punctuation.
