Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary world, population was inceased significantly as compare with the past few decades. Due to increased population one problem is arises which is provide homes for every family. The solution came to overcome this problem is building a tall, highted towers. I am strongly agree with the solution of buidling a vertical houses instead of horizontal homes which take so much space.
Firstly, due to drastically increased population, one important risk arises is shelter for every human. This problem mostly take part in large and big cities like, Mumbai, Delhi because, today most of the high paying jobs are available in big cities, for this many youngsters have to relocate to the metro cities. Whereas, due to higher rate of shifting from town to cities government or other private indsutries needs to manage the shelter for citizens. In countries like Italy phases major problems regarding the accomodation managments, beacuse these countries are very small in area, and population is increasing over to years.
To solve this problem, constructing a tall bulding is only solution to fullfill the accomodation of the people. Vertical apartments also had some another advantages like it require less space as compare with horizontal apartments. Many people can stay or live in small space. Also reduce the problems of vehicle parking because, it had the space at the ground floor to park the vehicle. Tall buliding can also provide the space for gardens and other services.
In conclusion, building the large and tall apartments help people to manage the space and to overcome the problem of accomodation that arises due significantly inceased population.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly support tall apartment buildings as a way to address housing shortages in large cities. You explain the pressure created by migration for work and give relevant examples of cities such as Mumbai and Delhi, then identify space efficiency and facilities as benefits. This addresses the task, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that towers reduce parking problems is not clearly connected to how they provide enough homes, and the reference to Italy is brief and difficult to interpret. Develop one or two examples in more detail, and acknowledge a limitation or alternative, such as the need for transport and services, to make the argument more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs explain the housing problem and proposed solution, and a conclusion restates your position. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “To solve this problem,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The shift from population growth to job migration, for example, would benefit from a more explicit link, while “Whereas” does not form a clear contrast in its sentence. The discussion of parking and gardens also moves quickly between benefits. Use clearer links between each claim and the central argument, and make references such as “this problem” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “population,” “shelter,” “accommodation,” “vertical apartments,” and “relocate.” However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “problem,” “space,” and “people,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make parts less clear. Examples include “population was inceased,” “a tall, highted towers,” “accomodation managments,” and “fullfill the accomodation.” Spelling errors also recur, including “buidling” and “beacuse.” Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “housing demand,” “high-rise apartment blocks,” and “meet residents’ housing needs.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the main argument is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors, however, occur in basic clauses and in longer sentences. For example, “one problem is arises” has an incorrect verb construction, while “I am strongly agree” uses an unnecessary auxiliary. In “Many people can stay or live in small space,” the article and number pattern are not controlled, and “Tall building can also provide” has a singular-plural agreement problem. Tense and sentence construction are also inconsistent in places, such as “Vertical apartments also had some another advantages.” Practise forming complete clauses with accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and consistent tense, then proofread each sentence.
