Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the fast paced world it is very difficult for large cities to provide enough homes for residents. Government officials should built sky scrapper apratment blocks.
In strongly agree with the statement that higffh authorities should build tall buildings in large cities to avoid rush and popullation challanges. This approach would be more beneficial.
One of the main reason why I believe that, there should be tall buildings in metro cities that can less the amount of rush and popullation. if a large city would be extend on ground there would be very cheotic and people would have to face different type of challanges. For instance, a Salaried person wants to travel in the morning there is hustle and bustle. no good condition roads available, furthermore, it can be too much saffocated while traveling. popullation will increase. As a result this would create different problem. such as accomodation, travelling path, time management.
If government officials starts nto built sky scrappers it will be easy for people to live in a decengt way. this initiative can reduce the density of popullation that is increasing day by day. People suffering in larger cities they cannot afford living cost, consequently, it would not be able for them to work in big cities and earn for themselves. as a result we will be culprit to open a page of immorality.
As far as I am concerned, I think I am in favour of building big and tall building aparment block to avoid the popullation and rush, as well as cheos. High authorities should develop these ideas and work on that to built an clean and heathy enviornment to those who come to find different occupation to better their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly support tall apartment blocks, and you give relevant reasons connected to congestion, population density and housing affordability. The example of a salaried worker travelling in the morning helps illustrate pressure on city infrastructure. However, the response only partly develops the task: it does not explain in detail how high-rise housing would provide enough homes, and several claims—such as reducing population density or making city living affordable—are asserted rather than supported. The point about “a page of immorality” is unclear and does not convincingly support your argument. To strengthen the response, explain the practical benefits and limitations of building upwards, and develop each reason with a clear example or explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to supporting points and a concluding opinion. Some linking expressions, including “For instance,” “As a result” and “consequently,” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the discussion shifts from traffic to accommodation, then affordability and morality without clearly explaining the links. Connectors are sometimes used mechanically or inaccurately, and sentence boundaries are unclear in places, such as “no good condition roads available, furthermore, it can be too much…” The conclusion largely repeats the position rather than drawing the reasons together. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to urban development, including “population density,” “accommodation,” “salaried person” and “infrastructure”-related ideas, and this gives the response some topic focus. However, the range is limited and errors in spelling, word choice and collocation are noticeable, sometimes making meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “sky scrapper,” “cheotic,” “saffocated,” “decentg” and “enviornment.” Phrases such as “less the amount of rush” and “open a page of immorality” are not natural or clear in this context. Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the effects of high-rise housing without relying on repeated references to “rush” and “population.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a large city would be extend on ground…” and cause-and-effect sentences beginning “As a result.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction frequently make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “Government officials should built” needs the base verb after “should,” while “One of the main reason” has a number-agreement error. The conditional sentence about a city extending on the ground is also not formed correctly, and several sentences begin with lowercase letters or run together. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences using controlled clauses and careful punctuation.
