Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You do address the topic by comparing buying or building homes with constructing tall apartment blocks, and your final sentence indicates a preference for apartment blocks. However, the response only minimally answers the question: it does not clearly explain the extent of your agreement or develop a focused argument about whether tall buildings are the best way to provide enough homes in large cities. Points such as “cheap rate,” facilities, and possible sewerage problems are mentioned, but their relevance and consequences are not explained. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly in the introduction, give reasons directly connected to housing supply and urban space, and support each reason with a specific example or explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: it begins with the topic, moves through housing and apartment blocks, and ends with a preference for apartments. “First of all” and “For example” also signal some relationships between ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because several different points are crowded into long passages, and the examples in parentheses interrupt rather than clarify the argument. Connections between ideas are often unclear, such as the shift from buying homes to the claim that apartments can be built properly. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and the conclusion. Shorter sentences and clearer links explaining how each point supports your view would make the organisation more coherent.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “tall apartments,” “flats,” “facilities,” and “sewerage,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the vocabulary is basic and repetitive, with “we can made” and “beautiful” used repeatedly, and several inaccurate or unclear choices strain understanding. For example, “enough information about homes” does not express the task’s idea of providing enough housing, while “gave a beautiful furniture” is not an appropriate way to describe apartment features. Build a more precise range for discussing housing supply, construction, and urban living, and check spelling and word forms. Replacing repeated general words with specific terms will help communicate your ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “if” clauses, and uses simple statements to express a preference. However, the range of structures is very limited, and errors are frequent enough to distort meaning or make sentences hard to follow. Examples include “The best way to gives provide,” “we can made,” and “it is not build properly”; verb forms and agreement are not controlled. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also cause problems, as in “an apartment blocks” and the extended sentence beginning “If we can buy new home.” Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time. Check verb forms after modal verbs and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
