Student answer (Band 5.0)

I strongly agree with this statement because of the several reasons.

to begin with, the main reason why i agree is a large cities cover a dense population and there might be different problems related to rooms and apartment and the best way is to provide enough homes in large cities. while building a lagre cities homes many people can life quality of life and can fullfill their needs and demands. there can be employment oppournities and it can develop the society too. different types of people come from particular district and it can create good relations between cultural and traditions.

Further more, another crucial point to be consider is people can easily get aparment and the rate can be lower. people can select the room by their choice and it will be easy for them. the cities will develop more and it can create a good environment. For example: a human who never came to large cities and he have problem with finding rooms and room are not avaiable at the moment mdue to dense population he can have different problem in finding room so, making enough homes in large cities will help alot to the human who want to migrate in large cities. there are lot of benefits like people can get quality life, they can sustain in room.

In conclusion, i completely agree building enough homes in large cities can help enough people and live quality life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear position—“I strongly agree”—and give relevant reasons, including housing access, affordability and the needs of people moving to cities. However, the response only partially develops the task: it does not explain why tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide homes, or compare them with alternatives. Several points, such as employment opportunities and cultural relations, are asserted without showing how they support the argument. The example about a newcomer struggling to find a room is relevant, but its explanation is difficult to follow and does not clearly demonstrate the benefits of tall buildings. The response is also 10 words below the required minimum. Develop fewer reasons in more detail and connect each directly to high-rise housing and the question’s claim.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic overall structure: an opening position, two body paragraphs introduced by “to begin with” and “Further more,” and a conclusion. These markers help the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within the paragraphs is weak: ideas about housing, employment, cultural relations and the environment are placed together without clear links. The long example beginning “For example: a human who never came…” is difficult to follow, and references such as “it” and “they” do not always make clear which idea is meant. The conclusion repeats the opening rather than drawing the reasons together. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain it in a logical sequence, and make links between claims and examples explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “dense population,” “employment opportunities,” “migrate” and “quality of life,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “people,” “cities,” “room” and “enough homes.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “lagre,” “oppournities,” “aparment” and “av a iable,” which can interrupt reading. Some combinations are unnatural, for example “sustain in room” and “the rate can be lower.” Build a more precise set of housing terms and check spelling; choose expressions that clearly describe affordability, housing supply and high-rise development.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional example with “who… and he…”. However, the longer structures are often faulty, and frequent errors make some sentences difficult to understand. For instance, “a large cities cover a dense population” has problems with article use and subject–verb agreement, while “people can life quality of life” does not form a complete, clear grammatical idea. Verb forms and agreement are also inconsistent in “he have problem,” and sentence boundaries and capitalization are unreliable, as in the lowercase “i” and the run-on example sentence. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, articles, verb forms and punctuation.
