Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a position—“I am partially agree”—and identify fire safety and traffic congestion as concerns about tall buildings, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the argument is only minimally developed: fire safety is mentioned briefly, while traffic congestion is not explained, and there is no supporting example or discussion of why apartment blocks may or may not be the best way to provide homes. The position is also not fully clarified. The response does not meet the required minimum of 250 words, leaving too little space to address the task adequately. Develop both sides of your partial agreement, explain each reason, and support your points with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening introduces the topic and position, followed by a paragraph beginning “The first foremost reason,” which signals a supporting point. The ideas are generally related to the question, and the reader can identify fire safety as the main concern. However, the response ends before a clear progression of ideas is established. Traffic congestion is introduced but not developed, and there is no conclusion to return to your position. Some links, such as “that why,” do not clearly express the relationship between the ideas. Use separate paragraphs for each reason, connect claims to explanations and examples, and finish with a concise conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “fire safety,” “traffic congestion,” “life threat,” and “tall building,” which helps communicate the general subject. There is also an effort to use formal essay language in the opening. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are frequent, as in “housh,” “singnificant,” “eassy,” “relevent,” and “goverments.” Some expressions are also unnatural or unclear, such as “tall society blockes” and “fire only available for 14 floures,” making parts of the argument difficult to understand. Build accuracy with common housing and urban-planning terms first, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise vocabulary will help you explain your ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response includes a few attempts at longer structures, such as “If we are making tall building …, there are several problem,” and uses a basic conditional pattern to introduce a consequence. However, sentence structures are mostly simple, and grammatical control is inconsistent. For example, “I am partially agree” has an incorrect verb form, while “there are sevral problem” shows a number-agreement error. Articles and sentence boundaries are also often missing or inaccurate, as in “fire safety,in india fire only available…” and “that why goverments not making…”. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation, then add a wider range of controlled complex sentences.
