Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today competitive world, the excellent way to offer sufficient houses in huge cities is to construct giant apartment blocks.I agree with the statement because tall apartments are better for families to live in large cities and provides all kind of facilities related to furniture or any household material. On the one hand, I support this point of view that construct giant apartment blocks because of convience and better living style for families. This is mainly due to it offer facilities such as household items, proper furniture, lift, parking area.In addition it is a better way to live in enormous cities with relatives and loved ones. For instance, populated cities can build apartment near business district, allowing people to live closer to their workplaces and reducing the time also to reach to their destination. On the other hand, this leads to a lesson population from rural areas and transfer individuals from villages to enormous cities. Therefore, the may become a citizen of City areas by doing all the study and work in a urban area.As well as village food supplies will be sent to cities for people and it will become demandable in all the areas.Businessmen can gain profit by buying these all things from village like sugar, wheat and oil and sell them in cities on high prices.Consequently, it provides better quality of life to live in cities. In conclusion, the outstanding way to offer satisfactory homes in extensive cities is to construct giant apartment blocks.I completely agree with this statement as it gives a better quality of life, offer various facilities to individuals and people will get education and work in large cities

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion: you agree that tall apartment blocks are an effective way to provide homes. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons, including access to facilities and living near workplaces. However, the response only partially develops the task: it does not explain in detail why high-rise construction is the best way to provide enough homes, or compare it with alternatives. The second paragraph shifts to rural migration, food supplies and businessmen’s profits, which are not clearly connected to the effectiveness of apartment blocks. Develop a smaller number of directly relevant reasons and support each with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “On the one hand,” “For instance” and “In conclusion” help signal stages of the essay. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the second body paragraph moves from rural migration to food supplies and business profits without showing how these points support the main argument. Some links are also mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “In addition,” “Therefore” and “Consequently.” Make each paragraph focus on one central reason, then use clear explanations to connect its supporting details to the claim about apartment blocks.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “apartment blocks,” “business district,” “facilities” and “quality of life.” However, the range is limited by repeated wording and several inaccurate or unnatural choices that make some ideas harder to understand. For example, “giant” and “enormous” are repeated where “high-rise” or “large” would be more precise, while “lesson population” appears to be an incorrect choice for a decrease in population. Phrases such as “demandable” and “all the study and work” are also unclear in context. Aim for accurate collocations and use vocabulary that directly expresses housing, density and access to services.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including the example beginning “For instance” and the clause “allowing people to live closer to their workplaces.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. In the introduction, “tall apartments … provides” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “because of convience and better living style for families” is not a complete sentence. Other examples include “it offer facilities” and “the may become a citizen,” which show problems with verb forms and sentence construction. Work on complete clauses, agreement, articles and punctuation, and check that each sentence has a clear subject and verb.
