Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is argued by many people that build tall apartment blocks in developed areas is a best way to provide homes for citizens. I strongly agree with this statement because of several reasons which i will discuss in following paragraphs.
The most compelling reason for believing this is that it save space bacause many families can live in a one building. When government build a tall buildings, it can help to accomodate many people in less space. It is very helpful in biger cities where have a less living space. For example, delhi is a very crowded place to slove homesikkness problem government made large apartment blockes. As a result, they can solve homesikkness problem in small budget.
Furthermore, people can use convenient facilities such as lifts, parking areas and shops. Because it can make easy to lifeand more confertable. These facilities are an important. Although these flats are expensive as compare to others, mostly people like to live there. For instance, if local autorties provide these facilities, they can earn more and more. Therefore, people can enjoy there life and owners extand there revenue.
In addition to this, it will protact the natural space. when dealers make a highrising buliding, they can stop deforestration. It is also helpful for birds and animals which are live in forest areas. It is bast way to protect the animals and natural places. To examplify, cities which are very crowded they require a large appartment buildings. Consequently, it can solve both human and nature problems.
In conclusion, i believe that build a large building for resisdence solve overcrowded and homesikness from developed cities. I recomended that government should make these type of building in cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I strongly agree,” and the conclusion maintains this view. You give relevant reasons—saving space, providing shared facilities, and protecting natural areas—and include an example referring to Delhi. This addresses the main task, but the support is uneven. The space-saving point is explained most clearly, while the facilities paragraph shifts to owners’ revenue without showing how this supports the claim that tall blocks are the best way to provide homes. The environmental argument also needs a clearer link between building upwards and preventing development on natural land. Develop each reason with a specific explanation or example, and briefly acknowledge a limitation, such as affordability, before explaining why you still agree.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs for different reasons, and a conclusion that restates your position. Sequencing expressions such as “Furthermore,” “In addition to this,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad progression. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Because it can make easy to lifeand more confertable” is not smoothly connected to the preceding sentence, and the move from facilities to owners earning more shifts the paragraph’s focus. References such as “it” and “they” are sometimes difficult to identify. Make each paragraph develop one central point, use clearer links between cause and result, and check that pronouns refer unmistakably to the intended people or buildings.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to housing and urban development, including “apartment blocks,” “accommodate,” “parking areas,” and “deforestation.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and there are attempts to use more specific terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “homesikkness,” “biger,” “autorties,” and “resisdence.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “solve homesickness problem” and “make easy to life,” which can make the intended meaning harder to understand. Build accuracy by learning common collocations for housing and city planning, and proofread spelling and word forms. Prefer precise, familiar expressions over ambitious wording that is not yet controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a concession introduced by “Although.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. For example, “it save space” needs subject–verb agreement, while “When government build a tall buildings” combines an omitted article with an incorrect verb form and plural noun. The sentence “Because it can make easy to life…” is also incomplete as written. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check articles and singular/plural forms, and ensure each sentence has a complete main clause.
