Student answer (Band 5.0)
The better way to facilitate houses in big cities is to constract lofty apartments block. from my prespective, this statement having 2 different point of view. i agree or disagree with both conditions .
My first argument is that am agree with this condition to build a immense apartment blocks in large urban areas. it is beneficial to the structure of city and will gives a civilized structure and will acomodates large numbers of their civilians. it can saves the individual structures of houses and can helpful for building a whole society in a single building.
people will enjoys a lot their in a joint soc iety and gives a chance to stay near of one and other. however i knows the fact that every picture have both bright and dark sides . main disadvantage of these huge buildings will be the natural disasters like earthquicks, flood and other likely things.
for instance, the 9-11 incident is a famous example that plan crashes on this buillding due to its emmense height of the buildings.
There are so many examples on this topic.
in my opinion, I would like to says that instead of very large buildings the administration should took steps about the moderate structures to facilitates and saves popoultion. i have another experience on the sideeffects of living in a huge structure. last year i had visited my friend apartment block in karachi in my country pakistan. am very disapponted to saw their lifestyle of living. too noisy society i was tired there. i also faced out other problems which were created by neighbours and other complex things.
This decission of large buildings can inhance the beauty of cities but in my view it cannot provides a peaceful life to society .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the question by considering both the benefits and drawbacks of tall apartment blocks, and your final view is that moderate-sized buildings are preferable. The points about accommodating many residents and the noise and social difficulties you experienced in a Karachi apartment block are relevant. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says you “agree or disagree with both conditions,” and the response first supports tall blocks before concluding against very large buildings. Some support is also limited or unclear. The reference to the 9/11 attacks does not clearly explain why tall blocks are not the best way to provide homes, and the claim that they “will gives a civilized structure” needs explanation. State your position clearly from the introduction and develop fewer reasons with specific links to housing provision.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some organisation: the response moves from a potential advantage to disadvantages and then gives a personal example before concluding. Basic linking expressions such as “however,” “for instance,” and “in my opinion” help signal these moves. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the opening does not establish a definite position, and the shift from supporting large blocks to recommending moderate structures is not clearly explained. Several ideas are placed together without showing their relationship, while “There are so many examples on this topic” adds no specific development. Paragraphing is also limited, with multiple points crowded into long sections. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and the conclusion, and connect each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to urban housing, including “urban areas,” “apartment blocks,” “natural disasters,” and “neighbours,” and some choices communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “facilitate houses,” “civilized structure,” “saves population,” and “sideeffects”; these are either unnatural or unclear in context. Frequent misspellings such as “constract,” “accomodates,” and “disapponted” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. For example, describe buildings as “provide housing” or “accommodate residents,” and explain the specific urban benefit or drawback rather than relying on broad phrases such as “other complex things.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and use clauses to express contrast and reasons, as in “however i knows the fact that every picture have both bright and dark sides.” Nevertheless, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence formation, verb forms, agreement, and articles. Examples include “this statement having,” “it can saves,” “people will enjoys,” and “the administration should took steps.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, including the lowercase sentence openings and the run-on sequence beginning “i have another experience.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Practise forming accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check subject–verb agreement and use the base verb after modal verbs such as “can” and “should.”
