Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many big cities people have major concern about their homes. By providing large qantity of home in a many floors building with tall apartment blocks sound good. I strongly believe because it will help that homeless poeple could live their.
Many poeple have wish to live in good and tall appartments because of congested place in many big cities, but To build such tall building is also a challanging process. Mostly citizen are living in small homes beacuse saturation of poeple in big cites is growing, by constructing tall building bomes is benficial because in very small place we can construct tall building with many floors that inculdes many tall appartments. Although, there is many small place in large cities, so this act will be helpful. I also firmly agree, beacuse tall building cover small place from bottom but large height which is benificial by constructing many appartments. For an instance chinese govt. are providing a large qantity of appartments so their citizen can live there which are located in tall buildings.
By constructing tall building with tall appartments is exellent mind strategy. It also cover many environmental facts. Due to tall apparments, there could be very open space for fresh air to pass through the appartments. Many citizen preffers tall appartment to live because these are very broaden for natural light in the building. Many tall building are Budget friendly as compared to construct many small building in different places. To an illustration, In europe many historical buildings have very tall appartments although they are not much in height as compare to current century buildings. Burj Khalifa is also good example of this statement.
To sum up above disscussion i would like to say, by constructing tall building with many floors that have tall appartments is a good strategy, as we can build many appartments in same small ground plot because of congested place in large cities. These buildings are popular among citizens due to their environment factors like fresh air and natural light.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that tall apartment blocks can help address housing shortages in crowded cities. You give relevant reasons, especially that many homes can be built on a small plot, and you include examples such as China and the Burj Khalifa. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because several claims are asserted rather than explained. For example, the discussion of fresh air and natural light does not show how tall blocks provide these benefits, and the historical-building example is not clearly connected to providing enough homes. Develop fewer points in more depth, and explain practical limitations or conditions, such as affordability, infrastructure, and access to services, to make the argument more convincing and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position is generally easy to identify. You also use linking expressions such as “Although,” “For an instance,” and “To sum up.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the second paragraph moves from congestion to construction challenges and then to China without developing the links between these ideas. Several transitions are repetitive, and “Although” introduces a clause that does not form a clear contrast. Some references, such as “this act” and “these,” are also vague. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then use clear explanation and a directly relevant example to connect its sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “congested,” “constructing,” “natural light,” and “environmental,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “tall building,” “appartments,” and “many.” There are also frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices, such as “qantity,” “challanging,” “bomes,” and “broaden,” which sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Some combinations are unnatural, including “large quantity of home” and “excellent mind strategy.” Build a more accurate set of housing and urban-planning expressions, and check spelling and collocations carefully. The suggestions below show ways to make several phrases more precise and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “although,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in sentence structure and agreement occur throughout, as in “Many big cities people have major concern” and “there is many small place.” Articles and plurals are also often missing or incorrect, for example “in a many floors building” and “many tall building.” Some complex sentences become difficult to follow because clauses are joined without a clear grammatical relationship. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent as well. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement, articles, plural nouns, and sentence boundaries.
