Student answer (Band 5.0)
The High rise apartments is better than homes provided to peoples in large area. Yes, I completely agree with this statement because government is allocating a accommadation to a poor people with all the facilities but they decided to given a apartments block to every individuals due to overcrowding and accommodate many people in a limited area.
First and Foremost, the apartments blocks should be provided to those people who didn't have homes and need it immideately however goverment accommodate the citizen in the apartments in affordable price and provided other public facilities. Therefore, they are facing the problems for shortage of houses in a limited area so that to buld a large towers to provide them easily without challeges.
Furthermore, Goverment has provided a residential areas to many of the peoples as per the figures given and people who were staying in slum area in each and every of cities to provides the accommodation and other safety services in a less area because of apartments made by goverments due to increasing of population. Consequently. people should be lead their life in a high standard.
To Conclude that i strongly believe it is an effective way to builds a tall towers in a limited area to accommodate the individuals who were below the poverty line. Government should ensure that provides safety measures, green spaces and other public facilities in their areas.A combination of high rise apartments and other types of housing would be the best solution.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you strongly support tall apartment blocks, and you give relevant reasons such as accommodating more people in limited space and providing housing for people in poverty. However, the response addresses the question only partially because the reasons are asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. For instance, the claim that towers can ease overcrowding is repeated, but you do not compare this approach with alternatives or explain when high-rise housing may be most effective. The final sentence introduces a combination of housing types, which slightly qualifies your earlier complete agreement without explaining that qualification. The response is also four words below the required minimum. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a relevant example, and make your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and Foremost,” “Furthermore” and “To Conclude” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from eligibility for housing to affordability and then to building towers without clearly connecting these points. Some linking expressions are also used mechanically, and “Consequently” does not clearly show how the preceding claim leads to a higher standard of living. Repeated references to government provision and limited space make the argument feel circular. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain it and show its result with clear referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “overcrowding,” “accommodation,” “public facilities,” “population” and “poverty line,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “homes provided to peoples in large area,” “given a apartments block,” and “lead their life in a high standard.” Spelling errors such as “accommadation,” “immideately” and “goverment” are also noticeable. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. Reusing accurate terms such as “high-rise housing,” “residential buildings” and “urban density” would help you express the ideas more clearly without relying on awkward repetitions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses linked with “because,” “however” and “so that.” This shows an effort to express reasons and consequences, but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty, so readers sometimes have to work to understand the relationships between ideas. For example, “the apartments blocks should be provided to those people who didn’t have homes and need it” has problems with plural agreement and pronoun reference. In “government is allocating a accommadation,” the article and noun construction are also incorrect. Verb forms and sentence boundaries need attention, as in “a tall towers” and the run-on transition into “Consequently.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals and sentence punctuation before adding more complex clauses.
