Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is Generally Considered that large cities have many tall apartment blocks so bundle of people can live there.
People Usually think that making apartment helps non-resident people to live in City hub with access to all things easily.
I think that tall apartments do provide homes in huge cities but at the same time small homes and flats can help local community to stay together. Here i will explain 2 Arguements for Agreement and 1 for Disagreemnent with their details.
Firstly, Tall Apartments allow people to make a central hub where they can live, work and meet and greet. They can make their life better by connecting to the City.Giant Apartments allow people to manage their lifestyle better interms of growth, management skills and interpersonal skills. So these appartments can provide a vast amount of homes so people can live their.
Secondly, In these Apartments where a large amount of homes can be built there can also be variety of working spaces so people can live and work at the same place this creates opportunity for more people to live their and work without long travels and hussles. So a lot more alongside providing homes can be built and people can grow their as well.
One point of Disagreement i also want to discuss here as well,Making huge apartment blocks can hinder the city progress if it is make in a city hub and can be a cause of tension for people living nearby so these things should be kept in mind while making apartments in huge cities.
In the end I would like to say Tall Apartments do provide a large amount of homes making it a city spot and close communication ways but can disturb overall ecosystem of the city.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is broadly clear: you support tall apartment blocks as a way to provide housing, while acknowledging that they may create problems for nearby residents and the city. The two supporting points—housing many people and combining homes with workplaces—are relevant to the question. However, the discussion remains general and the supporting explanations are limited; for example, “people can grow” does not explain how this benefit follows from apartment construction. The opposing point about hindering city progress and causing tension is also asserted rather than illustrated or developed. To strengthen the response, explain what makes tall blocks the best option compared with alternatives, and support each main point with a specific example or consequence. Make the extent of your agreement more explicit and consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In the end” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first supporting paragraph moves from a “central hub” to lifestyle and interpersonal skills without showing the links between these ideas. The opening also repeats the general idea that apartments provide homes before the writer’s position is stated. Some connections are mechanical, and the counterargument is introduced in a long, awkward sentence. Use topic sentences that state one main point, then explain and exemplify it; clearer referencing and more varied transitions would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “tall apartment blocks,” “local community,” “working spaces,” and “ecosystem,” so the reader can understand the general subject and argument. However, the range is limited and several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. For instance, “bundle of people” is not a natural way to describe residents, “hussles” is misspelled and informal, and “close communication ways” does not clearly express the intended idea. Repetition of “people,” “provide,” and “apartments” also limits precision. Build a more accurate range of housing and urban-planning terms, and check collocations and spelling. Choose words that express specific effects, such as housing capacity, access to services, or pressure on infrastructure.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast in “Tall Apartments do provide … but … can disturb” and a reason-and-result structure about living and working in one place. However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and frequent errors affect clarity. Examples include “where a large amount of homes can be built,” where the noun phrase does not agree, and “if it is make in a city hub,” where the verb form is incorrect. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable: “Firstly, Tall Apartments allow … meet and greet. They” runs ideas together, while the final sentence lacks a clear grammatical connection between its points. Practise accurate clause construction, subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a complete, clear structure.
