Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, I am agree with this statement, and that's the right and brilliant think and best way to provide enough homes in large cities to build tall apartment blocks.
If we see to large cities nowadays every one want to live there, becuase of it's facillities, good enviroments, well education, and modren technology.
So if most people want to live there, so they need enough homes for his living, so if build tall building and apartment blocks, so people will adjust there easily, and if don't build tall apartments, and build it's opposit a wide homes, which can take from us more space, and did not adjust more people. and people become sad they migrate to another cities and villages, so thats directly effected on the business and economy of this cities. so on that's reason I am agree with this statment that best way to provide enough homes in large cities is to build tall apartment blocks.
a good example related this statement, let's supose, a person which want to build a home, and this person have three son's, and they have palce of just one home, and his all son's have already merried and every one want sperat home from his father, but the father not have enough space to build separate home for them, so what they need to do?
they need to build at this one place a tall apartments and give to every son separate apartment. so like this at small place they build enough homes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear position in favour of tall apartment blocks and give a relevant reason: they can house more people on limited urban land. The example of a father dividing one plot into apartments for his married sons also illustrates this point. However, the response addresses the task only partially because the main argument is repeated rather than developed, and the example is hypothetical rather than supported with broader explanation or evidence. The claim that residents may migrate and harm the city’s economy is introduced but not explained. The response contains 227 words, so it is 23 words below the required minimum; the 24 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop the reasons and example further, and meet the minimum length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a basic overall structure: you state your opinion, explain the need for housing, and then give an example. This makes your main position identifiable. However, progression within the central paragraph is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in one long sequence, with repeated links such as “so” and “and.” The shift from limited space to migration and the economy is abrupt, and the final example is not clearly separated from the preceding argument. Use distinct paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and example, and make each paragraph develop one main point. Replace repeated connectors with clearer links that show cause, contrast, or illustration.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “large cities,” “apartment blocks,” “space,” and “economy,” so the reader can understand the general topic. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the writing less clear, such as “good enviroments,” “wide homes,” and “separate home.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “adjust there easily” and “directly effected on the business.” Aim for more precise housing and urban-planning vocabulary, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For example, describe people as being “accommodated” in apartments and say that migration “could affect the local economy.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences and use conditional forms, as in “if build tall building and apartment blocks, so people will adjust there easily.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries sometimes make the reader work to understand the meaning. Examples include “I am agree,” “every one want,” and “the father not have enough space.” The long sentence beginning “and if don't build tall apartments” also lacks a clear grammatical structure and punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses—for example, “If cities build taller apartment blocks, they can accommodate more residents on less land.”
