Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
The response is relevant to the question: you state that cities should construct apartments and begin to explain that they can use land efficiently in crowded, developing cities. However, the answer is only 65 words, well below the required 250, and it ends mid-sentence at “we can b”. As a result, your position is only briefly stated, the main reason is not explained, and there is no supporting example or consideration of whether tall blocks are the best solution. To develop the response, explain how high-rise housing increases capacity, then support this with a specific example and address a limitation or alternative before giving a clear conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening introduces the issue and your position, followed by a sentence beginning “One major and noticeable point”. The linking phrase signals that a reason is coming, so the reader can see the intended direction. However, the response stops before that point is completed, and there is no developed progression, conclusion, or paragraph structure. The phrase “This essay talk about” also announces the essay rather than advancing its argument. Build a clear sequence of introduction, developed supporting paragraphs, and conclusion, using links such as “For example” and “However” to show how each idea relates to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to urban housing, including “growing cities”, “sufficient residents”, “overcrowding”, and “efficient use of land”. These choices show an attempt to discuss the topic rather than relying entirely on general language. However, the range is narrow, and several spelling or word-choice errors reduce precision: “worlds” appears where “world” is intended, “appartment” is misspelled, and “facillitate to overcrowding” does not express the intended relationship naturally. Use accurate topic-specific phrases such as “high-rise residential buildings”, “housing demand”, and “make more efficient use of limited land”. Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your meaning clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts both a direct position statement and a longer conditional structure: “if we construct apartment … we can b”. This shows an effort to move beyond isolated simple sentences. However, the conditional sentence is incomplete, and the opening contains faulty forms in “cities should have to construct” and “This essay talk about”. The phrase “in developing cities if we construct…” also needs clearer sentence boundaries and punctuation. Because the response is very short, there is little evidence of accurate control across a range of structures. Practise complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, for example, “Cities should construct apartment blocks to provide enough homes,” and check agreement and articles when editing.
