Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, the number of tall apartments increased in metropolitian cities because of population. From my perspective it is benificial on larger extent because tall apartment can accomodate many people in one place.
To start with, the tall buildings generally provides great view because of this reason people usually prefer to live in tall buildings. These buildings are responsible for development of cities. Because of population increased these buildings are made to accomodate a large number of citizens. For instance, tall buildings like burj khalifa are the best example of architecture and it provides residance to huge amont of people and it even have many shops inside.
Thesedays, tall buildings provides alot of space and eye catching view which is significant reason why people prefer to stay in sky scrapers. Other than that this buildings provides access to many facilities like clubs, swimming pools and game zones. To avail this benefits people usually chose to live in skyscrapers. there are number of buildings which provides these kind of facilities. For example, Avadh is a widely popular in india and it provides amenities like theatre, game zones and free membership to thier clubs.
On the other hand, sometimes if there is a little blunder in architecture than these tall buildings might be dangerous and it could fall down in minutes. Even in situation like earth quake people who lives in these buildings might not get out.
To put in a nutshell, many people like enjoy view from top and because of number of facilities sky scrapers are popular in many metropolitian cities. Even it provides accomodatition to huge number of people it is widely poplular. Thus, in situation like earth quake it might be dangerous to people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear general view that tall apartment buildings are beneficial, and you support it with examples such as the Burj Khalifa and Avadh’s facilities. You also acknowledge a relevant drawback: earthquake safety. However, the response only partly answers the central question of whether tall blocks are the best way to provide enough homes. Much of the support focuses on views, shops, clubs and recreation rather than housing capacity or comparison with alternatives such as denser low-rise housing. The conclusion repeats the benefits and danger without resolving how far you agree. Develop the housing argument directly and explain why this approach is preferable, while qualifying your position in light of safety concerns.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. Examples are generally placed near the ideas they illustrate, and transitions such as “To start with” and “On the other hand” help signal shifts. However, progression is limited because the second and third paragraphs repeat that tall buildings offer views and facilities, rather than advancing distinct reasons about housing provision. Some links are mechanical or unclear, as in “Because of population increased these buildings are made,” and “To put in a nutshell” introduces a conclusion that largely repeats earlier points. Organise the body around separate arguments—capacity and practical limitations—and use clearer references and transitions to show how each point develops.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “metropolitan cities,” “architecture,” “facilities,” “skyscrapers” and “earthquake,” so the reader can follow the main subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “tall buildings,” “provides” and “people prefer.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, including “metropolitian,” “benificial,” “residance,” “amont” and “poplular.” Some collocations are unnatural, such as “accommodate to huge number of people” and “a little blunder in architecture.” Build a more precise range for discussing housing and urban planning, and check spelling and common word partnerships so that errors do not distract from your ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea about earthquakes and a sentence beginning “because of this reason.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in verb agreement, articles, plurals and sentence construction. For example, “tall buildings generally provides” should use a plural verb, while “this buildings provides” has both a demonstrative and agreement problem. In “people who lives in these buildings,” the verb does not agree with the plural subject. Some clauses are also awkwardly joined or incomplete, such as “Because of population increased these buildings are made.” Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, and check subject–verb agreement and article use before adding more complex structures.
