I strongly believe that building the tall apartments can reduce the problems being faced by the people live in cities. In this essay we will discuss how can tall apartments be helpul to provide enough houses in large cities, with relavent exasmples in forthcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, building the apartments can provide more numbers of homes which results that more families can residence into building. First and foremost, it takes less space to build as well as due to its vertical strucutre more number of buildings can be built. Secondly, its uniformity is quite attractive and aesthatic which attracts the youths to live in the apartments. For example, young generation used to live in studio appartment while they are wroking in totally new cities.
However, some people belive that there are some demirts of building such high skylines. Firstly, its frequent need of mentainence for maintaing the architecute of the building. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear position in the introduction, stating that you strongly believe tall apartments can reduce housing problems, and you give relevant points about using less land and accommodating more families. You also acknowledge disadvantages, including construction costs and maintenance. However, the response addresses the question only partially: the conclusion is unfinished, so your final position is not reinforced, and the advantages and disadvantages are asserted rather than explained with specific support. The example about young people living in studio apartments illustrates demand, but not clearly how high-rise construction provides enough homes. The response is also 39 words below the required minimum. Develop each main point with explanation or a more relevant example, and complete the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting advantages and disadvantages, and an attempted conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Firstly,” and “Secondly” help signal the order of points. However, progression is limited because ideas within paragraphs are not consistently connected or explained, and the conclusion stops after “I strongly believe that,” leaving the essay without a completed ending. Some linking is mechanical, and the opening phrase “In this essay we will discuss” does not add much to the argument. To improve, organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain how it supports your position, and use clear links between the explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “rapid urbanization,” “availability of land,” “vertical structure,” and “maintenance,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “more numbers of homes,” “families can residence,” “demirts,” and “attainion.” Some wording is also imprecise: “uniformity” and “aesthetic” do not clearly explain why apartments provide enough housing. Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “a greater number of homes,” “families can live,” and “construction costs.” Proofread spelling and choose vocabulary that directly expresses the point you are making.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, for example, “I strongly believe that building the tall apartments can reduce the problems…” and the sentence beginning “For example.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. In the opening, “As we know that” is an incomplete or awkward clause, while “there are issues been raised” has an incorrect verb construction. “The people live in cities” needs a relative pronoun, and “how can tall apartments be helpful” uses question word order inside an indirect question. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence completion. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them using subordinate clauses; check verb forms and ensure every sentence is complete.
