Student answer (Band 5.0)
The best way to provide enough numbers of homes to people living in big cities is a challanging task because of the increasing numbers in papolation around the globe and the migration towords big cities from small cities to find better chances in terms of jobs, healthcare and other facilities. Now a days, expenses are very high in big cities because of deamnd and supply rule. People numbers are high and resources are lower make the things harder. Mostly people live in flats, or in apartments with other people.
The best way to provide everyone a roof for living nowadays is making a tall building with all living resources. However, papolation is very dense in cities and places are very crowded. The propeties prices are very high due to alot of demand, that's the major reason for public are no longer able to afford own plot or house. The best soloution is to make multi story apartments and flats for those who are struggling to find a own place to live.
The reason behind my support of the statment is based on the facts that i already explain above. Major reason to build tall apartments blocks is higher rates of propeties, if we can build a big building on the same area where single story apartment before only serving 1 family, will help to accomodate more families. I already worked in major cities propety offices, people always comes here with the amount in their hand to find a own house. However, the value they offerd is no longer usefull to find a better single story family own living place. In this value, many apartment available in tall buildings which is more organised and on better location.
Nowadays, papolation is too much in cities, so it's not even possible to survive if everyone try to make his own house or goverment will take resposibilties to take part in urben develepoment. The best way to survive is the only way, above described.
Overall. every couple want to live in own house right after marrige, so apartments bloks are always good options for single family or family with multipule people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear position in favour of tall apartment blocks and give relevant reasons, especially that they can accommodate more families on the same area of land and may be more affordable than individual houses. Your experience in property offices also provides a potentially useful example. However, the response addresses the question only partially because the reasons are mostly repeated rather than developed, and the example remains general: it does not explain a specific case or show how apartment construction has increased housing supply. The final point about couples wanting their own homes is not clearly connected to the argument. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits and any limitations of high-rise housing, then support each main point with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has paragraphs and a recognisable overall direction: it introduces the housing problem, supports high-rise apartments, and ends with a conclusion. However, progression between ideas is weak, and several points recur without adding new support. For example, high population, expensive property and the need for tall buildings are repeated across the first three paragraphs. Linking phrases such as “The reason behind my support” and “Overall” help signal stages, but connections between individual claims are often unclear; the property-office example, for instance, is not fully tied to the affordability point. The conclusion introduces a new claim about couples rather than neatly summarising the argument. Group related reasons and examples, and use clearer references to show how each sentence develops the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “migration,” “resources,” “accommodate,” “property prices” and “urban development,” so the reader can understand the general subject and your position. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “big cities,” “people” and “tall buildings.” Frequent spelling errors, such as “challanging,” “papolation” and “deamnd,” are noticeable and sometimes slow the reader. There are also inaccurate or unnatural word combinations, including “enough numbers of homes,” “a roof for living” and “find a own place.” Aim for more precise housing vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, use “housing supply” for the number of homes available and “high-rise apartment blocks” instead of repeatedly saying “tall buildings.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if we can build a big building … will help to accommodate more families.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to follow. For example, “People numbers are high and resources are lower make the things harder” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “the major reason for public are no longer able to afford” has an incomplete construction. Article and agreement problems also appear in “find a own house” and “every couple want.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular/plural agreement and articles. Breaking long, loosely connected sentences into shorter ones would also improve accuracy.
