Student answer (Band 4.5)
In my opinion i agree this statement of building tall apartments blocks for enough homes. society should first organise all planning and make good decision, strategies for building a apartments firstly make a list of preparing for map of construction a build. for example recently me and my family take a property and we hire a staff for preparing a plan for a apartment we took a huge amount of loan because. I was investing in a large tall apartment so we are planned to build at least 10 floors of building where in each floor we are palnning to build at least 5 flats in each floors so total will be 50 flats. people of 50 families can live in this huge apartment. so first plan is to organise a play ground area for kids, then we are planning for gym area for adults, younger all group of ages. and meeting hall also planned for society discussions and last main room is cctv room for security guard and last if we have enough money to build a swimming pool area it will be fun for kids. and maintainces of cleaning floors and every apartment corner will be provided and there is no asscess for terraces for anyone is society. In conculsion in my opinion we should build large amount of apartment blocks for enough homes for people who have huge family members. and it will be so good to have a large amount of homes for all members who are needed for this apartment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear position at the start—“I agree”—and your example of a ten-storey building with 50 flats is relevant to increasing housing capacity. You also mention shared facilities such as a playground and gym, showing some awareness of how apartment developments might serve residents. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it focuses mainly on planning one building and its amenities, rather than explaining why tall blocks are the best way to provide enough homes in large cities. The personal example is not fully connected to the wider issue, and the conclusion repeats your view without weighing alternatives or developing the reasons. To strengthen the response, explain how high-rise construction uses limited urban land efficiently and support this with a clear, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a recognisable overall sequence: you give your opinion, describe a proposed apartment project, and finish with a conclusion. The figures about ten floors and five flats per floor also give the example a basic internal order. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and several different points are crowded into one long section. Connectors such as “so,” “and,” and “last” are repeated or used mechanically, while the relationship between planning, facilities, security, and the housing argument is not always clear. The conclusion largely restates the opening. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and example, and conclusion; then use linking phrases that show the specific relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “apartment blocks,” “construction,” “flats,” “security,” and “families,” which helps communicate the general subject. The response also attempts more specific terms for shared facilities, such as “meeting hall” and “swimming pool.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “organise a play ground area,” “preparing for map,” and “no asscess for terraces.” Spelling errors such as “palnning,” “maintainces,” and “conculsion” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of housing and urban-planning expressions, and check spelling and natural combinations of words so your meaning is easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You communicate a basic opinion and attempt to combine ideas using clauses, for example, “because I was investing in a large tall apartment” and “where in each floor we are planning to build…” However, sentence structures are mostly simple or run together, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement, and punctuation are frequent. Examples include “I agree this statement,” “me and my family take a property,” and “people of 50 families can live.” The long sentence beginning “and maintainces of cleaning floors” also lacks a clear grammatical structure. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex forms with clear subjects and verbs, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
