Student answer (Band 5.0)

In contemporary socity, homes have become a matter of considerable debate. Tt is often argue that, the excellent way to give maximum residence in big cities is to construct vertical flat units. I strongely agree that homes in larg cities cover wide area so that construction of desending buildingd are more beneficial to citizens to improve their financial conditions and health benefits.

On one hand, apartments give facilities to the citizens to make more money for the future. For example, whe famlies live in two or three rooms apparment they do not have to pay havey rents as compared to homes, they do not pay extra charges for the maintinance and cleaness for the appartments, also they do not have to any special security, in this way they can easily maintain their budgets every month. As a result the save their money for future prespectives.

On the other hand, when families leave togather they make strong bond with each other to share their problems with one another. In addition when they are free from their duties they enjoy some funny activities in the evening or they behave like a family with any one .Furthermore they perform their activities with fresh minds. For instance, when residencial citizen are in trouble time or when they are ill, they can get help easily with each other, or they need some help to solve their issues, they can easily share with their colluges. Consequently, their mental health mantain to persue their future mannerly.

To sum up, construction of tall bloks are more crucial than homes in a cities .It gives more space for cities to build new bussiness industries to improve the ecnomic conditions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is stated clearly: “I strongly agree” that tall apartment blocks are the best solution. You also give reasons related to residents’ finances and social support, so the response is relevant to the topic. However, the task is only partly addressed because the reasons do not explain convincingly how high-rise construction provides enough homes. The claim that apartment residents pay lower rent and avoid maintenance costs is asserted rather than supported, and the discussion of neighbours helping one another is not clearly linked to building taller blocks. The conclusion introduces space for businesses, but this point is not developed in the body. Explain the housing-capacity benefit directly and support each main reason with a specific, plausible example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding paragraph. These divisions help readers identify the main stages of your argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven: the first moves from rent and maintenance to saving money without clearly establishing how these points support the proposed housing solution, while the second shifts between family bonds, leisure, illness and mental health. Some linking phrases, including “As a result” and “Consequently,” signal relationships that have not been fully explained. Develop one central point per paragraph and use clearer references to connect each example to the claim about tall apartment blocks.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “vertical flat units,” “maintenance,” “security,” “mental health” and “economic conditions,” and some choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic language. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations are frequent enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. Examples include “socity,” “desending buildingd,” “residencial citizen” and “future prespectives.” Phrases such as “make more money for the future” and “perform their activities with fresh minds” are also imprecise in context. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning natural collocations for housing and urban development, such as “high-rise apartment buildings,” “housing supply” and “affordable accommodation.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “so that” and “as compared to.” This shows some range, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning unclear. For example, “It is often argue that” has an incorrect verb form, while “they do not have to any special security” is missing a grammatical element. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “construction of tall bloks are” and the run-on after “one another.” Practise forming complete clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and using punctuation to separate ideas. More accurate control of these patterns would make your argument easier to understand.
