Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people suggest that the best strategy to develop enough accommodations in highly populated cities is to build taller building structures with multiple apartments. I strongly agree with the statement because to find accomodation in larger cities has become a contentious issue.
In recent years, there has been an increase in the movement of population from rural to urban communities to get jobs and access advanced facilities. Due to the fact, the housing demands have been raised in these cities with different strategies used to develop taller building structures to provide accomodation for everyone. For example; a single storey house may accodimate only one family while a building with 50 apartments gives shelter to 50 different families.
Taller building structures give rise to global economy by using advanced machinery and artitechure facilities. Increased labour force enabled employment routes for multiple unemployed individuals. For example; a huge labour workforce is required to built huge buildings, thus paying salaries to them to fulfill their basic necessities.
In ky perspective, it alis an influential development with far reaching consequences in terms of accomodation and employment improving the economy and stability of society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that taller apartment buildings can help address housing shortages, and the comparison between one family in a single-storey house and 50 families in an apartment block is relevant. However, the response addresses the task only partially because the main ideas are brief and not fully explained. The employment and economic-growth point is related, but it does not directly show why tall blocks are the best way to provide homes; explain the link and consider a limitation or alternative. The conclusion also repeats your view without adding a developed summary. The response is 188 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough space to develop and support your argument fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding sentence. The examples also help readers follow the points, particularly the contrast between a single house and a 50-apartment building. However, progression between ideas is limited: the second body paragraph shifts from housing provision to employment and the economy without clearly connecting that point back to the question. Some linking is mechanical, such as repeated use of “For example” and “Due to the fact,” and the final paragraph is too brief to bring the argument together. Develop each paragraph around one clear claim, then use a sentence explaining how its evidence supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “highly populated,” “housing demands,” “labour force” and “far-reaching consequences.” This gives the response some variety beyond basic wording. However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural, and spelling errors are noticeable: “accomodation,” “accodimate,” “artitechure” and “alis.” Phrases such as “develop taller building structures” and “give rise to global economy” are also awkward or imprecise, which sometimes makes the intended meaning less clear. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, “construct high-rise apartment buildings” and “contribute to economic growth” express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple sentences and attempts at more complex structures, including “Due to the fact…” and the clause beginning “while a building with 50 apartments…”. The main position is generally understandable, but sentence construction is not consistently controlled. For instance, “to find accomodation in larger cities has become a contentious issue” uses an awkward infinitive subject, while “Due to the fact, the housing demands have been raised” is incomplete in form and has an unsuitable verb construction. There are also missing spaces after full stops and a semicolon used where a colon or full stop would be more appropriate. Practise building complete clauses and varying sentence patterns while checking punctuation.
