Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days accomadation is getting a bigger issue in most of the countries.People are looking for a best option to overcome this problem .It is a fact that there are some people argue costructing tall aparments is one of the best solutions to give enough shelter for urban community.I stongly support this notion due to the reasons of only need less land and can accomodate more people in one area. This essay will discuss abot tis and why support this statement.
It is ofter argued that big appartment can provide enough accomadation for people that houses .The prominent reason for this Government can construct big and mutilevel appartment in a single land . Therefor, government can utilise the rest of the lands for public facilities like public parks, educational institutions nad healthcare .For instance , society need to access hospitals and school ,if the city can provide those things it can be really beneficial for the community. So, if the number of houses in a city would be reduced government can expant the public need by utilising the land areas.
Apart from that, why I support this ied is more number of people can live ion one area .Consequently, people will get proper bond between each other due to the reason they all residing in a single appartment. For examble, govet can accomadate large amount of citizens in one building .By doing this everybody will get enough access to all the fecilities of city.
In conclusion, I strongly support the making of tall appartment will only provide benefits to both community a, nation, and autorities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly support tall apartment buildings, and you give two relevant reasons—using less land and housing more people in one area. The first body paragraph also explains a possible benefit of freeing land for parks, schools and healthcare. However, the response only partly develops the argument. The second reason, that residents may form stronger bonds, is asserted rather than explained, and the example about access to city facilities does not clearly show how apartment blocks create that benefit. The conclusion repeats your position but does not draw together the main reasons. To strengthen the response, explain each point with a clear cause-and-effect link and use examples that directly support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally focus on separate reasons, and linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Apart from that” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Consequently” introduces the claim about social bonds without showing how it follows from more people living in one area, while “By doing this” has an unclear reference. The progression within the first body paragraph also shifts from land use to public services without fully explaining the link. Use clearer references and connect each supporting sentence explicitly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “public facilities,” “urban community,” “accommodate” and “utilise,” and you attempt to express ideas beyond basic statements. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors make the writing less clear, including “accomadation,” “aparments,” “stongly” and “fecilities.” Some word combinations are also unnatural, such as “proper bond” and “public need.” Repeated use of “people,” “government” and “land” further limits variety. Aim to learn accurate spelling alongside natural collocations, and choose more precise terms for the ideas you mean—for example, “social ties” rather than “proper bond.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “due to the reasons” and a conditional construction beginning “if the number of houses…”. However, control is limited, and errors in sentence structure, articles, agreement and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “there are some people argue” needs a different clause structure, and “big appartment can provide enough accomadation for people that houses” is incomplete and unclear. The conditional sentence “if the number of houses in a city would be reduced” also uses an unsuitable verb form. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check articles, plurals and sentence boundaries during editing.
