Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is increase in population over the time whereas land ti provide housing to them remains same. Many people believes that in large cities to avoid this predicament we should start building high-rise apartments.I firmly believe this because it's beneficial for all and will avoid any future problems.
Replacing single homes with tall apartment can accomodate more than one family in a very small area. Building a schools, grocery departments, hospitals nearby apartments will reduce traffic congestion and avoid long hours drive too. Having all the facilities nearby will save so much time. Not only apartments benefits the future of country but also the residents too. We have more land to build park, shopping malls and grow trees which benefits health of individual, increase employment rate across different sectors and provide area for leisure. For instance, the land which was previously majorly occupied to provide housing can now used to bulid malls and amusement parks which comes with food courts, cinemas, arcade places. This increase employment rate and helps build country's economy. People living in apartments stay connected and help eachother.
On the other hand, if it's not planned properly, it has few downsides too. Building a very tall apartments near to each other will disturb the residents, cause pollution and noise.Drainage system should be well designed according to number of residents residing in an area. There should be an elevetor installed for a handicaped person. We should build apartments with noise cancellation walls for noise reduction. Recycle bin in community should be discarded daily.
Overall, high-rise apartment is definitely abetter option than single homes to avoid land scarcity in near future. Building tall apartments early and conserving land with a proper planned scheme is the key to build a happy nation. Failure to do so will cause a riot and will led to economy failure and decrease the quality of life of a country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear throughout: you firmly support high-rise apartments as a way to address limited land in large cities, and the conclusion reinforces this view. You give relevant reasons, including accommodating more families on less land, reducing travel when facilities are nearby, and freeing space for parks and employment. The example of redeveloping land for malls and amusement parks helps illustrate the point. You also acknowledge drawbacks such as noise, pollution and drainage, showing some consideration of the issue. To develop the response further, explain more directly why tall apartment blocks are the best solution compared with alternatives, and extend the less-developed points—for example, how the proposed facilities would reduce congestion or how the drawbacks could be managed in practice.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your position, the main body develops benefits and then drawbacks, and the conclusion returns to your view. Ideas generally progress logically, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “Overall” help readers follow the argument. Some connections are less smooth, however. The benefits paragraph moves quickly from nearby services to parks, employment and social connection, so the relationship between these points is not always explicit. The example about malls and amusement parks also interrupts the broader point about conserving land. Group related ideas more carefully, use clearer links between claims and examples, and make references such as “This” in “This increase employment rate” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “high-rise apartments,” “traffic congestion,” “land scarcity,” “drainage system” and “noise cancellation walls.” These choices make the subject clear, and some phrases show an attempt to express specific planning concepts. However, several noticeable word-choice, collocation and spelling problems reduce precision: “grocery departments” is not a natural term for local shops, “a very tall apartments” is incorrectly formed, and “eachother,” “elevetor” and “bulid” are misspelled. Phrases such as “happy nation” and “economy failure” are also imprecise in this context. Aim for more natural combinations and check spelling and word forms; this would make your vocabulary more flexible and accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the conditional “if it's not planned properly” and the contrastive construction “Not only … but also …”. The overall meaning is usually understandable, but errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction occur across the response. For example, “Many people believes” should have a plural verb, while “Building a schools” has an article and number mismatch. In “the land … can now used,” the passive construction needs “be,” and “which comes with” does not agree with the plural “malls and amusement parks.” Some punctuation spacing also makes sentences harder to read. Review agreement, articles and passive forms, then proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
