Student answer (Band 5.0)
The best way to provide homes and apartments in large cities is fulfilled by constructing tall buildings and different blocks in a specific area. I totally agree, with statement to build even though it is beneficial forrich people only they can afford such flats in tall buildings and villas they also wanted to buy properties and to rent apartments. However, it is not beneficial for the poor people are living in small tents.
The development of buildings and villa's has been increased as most of the poeple prefering to live in the aparments and well-structured societies.Nowadays the trend of building long towers and substantial apartments to generate different sources of income has been increased, such as builders and brokers charges tons of money to suggest and to locate perfect destination to buy or rent an apartment. In addition to this, apartments comes with fully furnished amenities and it provides high-quality furniture such as sofa set, kitchen crockery and also access swimming pool and indoor outdoor games etc... People lived in apartments should pay so many other charges such as monthly maintenance, club house and parking charges. Still, living in luxurious apartments is feasible to deal with any problems for rich people. It provides almost every necessery thing that a person need in their lives.
Building apartments is only beneficial for rich people as poor people cannot afford the high prices to rent apartments also so many other charges they have to pay. most of the people struggle to find a house with low-budget thats the major reason people are living in small tents. beacuse of the heavy rents many people prefer to live on the footpath. although it is beneficial for rich people but not for middle-class or poor people.
In conclusion, i agree that people are developing homes and expanding buildings including all amenities which is helpful for those people whoc can afford it. but for the poor people as they cannot pay such high charges.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear overall view—“I totally agree”—and discuss the affordability of apartments for wealthy residents versus poorer people. However, the response only partially answers the central question of whether tall apartment blocks are the best way to provide enough homes. Much of the discussion focuses on luxury amenities, brokers’ income and extra charges, rather than comparing high-rise construction with other ways of increasing housing supply or explaining how towers provide more homes. The claim that poor people live in tents or on footpaths is relevant but is asserted rather than supported with a specific example or explanation. To develop the response, explain the housing-capacity benefits and limitations of tall blocks, then support your position with a clear, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly separate discussion of apartment living from affordability. Some linking phrases, including “In addition to this,” “However” and “In conclusion,” help signal relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, there is no consistent progression toward answering whether high-rise blocks are the best solution: the first paragraph moves from agreement to wealthy buyers, then to poor residents, while the next focuses on amenities and charges. Several points are repeated, especially that apartments benefit rich people but not poor people. Some connections are also unclear, such as the link between builders’ and brokers’ income and providing enough homes. Organise each paragraph around one reason and use clearer links between claims and supporting explanations.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, such as “apartments,” “maintenance,” “rent,” “high-quality furniture” and “low-budget,” and attempt more specific expressions like “substantial apartments.” This gives the response enough basic language to communicate its main concerns. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “provide homes and apartments … is fulfilled by constructing” is unnatural, and “builders and brokers charges tons of money” does not express the intended idea precisely. There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, including “poeple,” “prefering,” “necessery” and “whoc.” Aim for accurate housing-related collocations, such as “increase housing supply” and “affordable accommodation,” and proofread spelling and forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Although it is beneficial for rich people…” and a concluding sentence with a contrast. However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “I totally agree, with statement to build” has an incomplete grammatical pattern, while “apartments comes” and “it provides … things that a person need” show subject–verb agreement problems. The opening sentence is also difficult to parse because its main clause does not connect clearly to “constructing tall buildings.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly where sentences run together without spaces or clear stops. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a complete, clearly connected clause.
