Student answer (Band 7.0)
It is broadly discussed that one of the easiest ways to supply sufficient households in urban cities is by constructing high-rise apartments. Well, I completely agree with this statement since tall apartments are convenient for constructing ample apartments in one location and it also protects the natural spaces by reducing the probability of deforestation activities.
With a rise in population caused by urbanization, construction companies and real estate agencies are bombarded with the demands of people to built numerous households. Furthermore, to meet this demand, these companies are strategically planning to construct high-rise apartments which requires less proportion of land. Moreover, when apartments are built vertically in a relatively smaller area, it provides a greater number of apartments conveniently by meeting the rising demand of occupants. For instance, in my city, Hyderabad, I witnessed that many people who migrated from other countries and cities are largely in need of homes. As a result, construction companies and government agencies have played a crucial role in creating spaces which specifically caters to the construction of high-rise apartments. This has led to the availablity of household facilities for such growing populations.
It is widely seen in many cities that deforestation activities are carried out on a larger scale in order to create more space for constructing homes. Few people demand that they require villas or two-storey buildings instead of apartments. In contrast, to avoid destruction of natural green spaces, the municipal corporations are focusing on providing better alternatives to society, by laying out plans for tall buildings with much luxurious facilities. Additionally, this has convinced customers to a great extent which has reduced the proposal of building villas substantially and requires less space for construction. For instance, my cousin who migrated from USA had initially requested for a villa from his real estate agent, but later switched to buying an apartment which has other luxurious facilities like gym, children's play area and a tennis courtyard.
To conclude, constructing high-rise apartments in urban cities not only meets the rising demand of its population in a strategic manner but it also protects the natural environment by minimizing the deforestation activities and focuses on constructing tall apartments in smaller land spaces.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that high-rise apartments can meet housing demand and reduce pressure on natural spaces. Both reasons are relevant and are developed with examples, including Hyderabad’s growing population and your cousin choosing an apartment with shared facilities. This addresses the task and gives the reader a clear line of argument. To strengthen the response further, make the comparison in the question more explicit: explain why tall blocks are the best way to provide homes, rather than simply a useful option, and acknowledge any limitation, such as the need for suitable infrastructure or careful planning. Some claims, particularly that apartments reduce deforestation, would also benefit from more precise explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs develop separate reasons, and the conclusion restates the argument. Ideas generally progress logically, and examples are placed where they support the relevant point. You also use a range of linking expressions, such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover,” and “For instance.” At times, however, these transitions feel repetitive or do not show the exact relationship between ideas. The second body paragraph moves from deforestation to residents’ preferences and then to your cousin’s choice; a clearer explanation of how shared facilities make apartments more attractive would improve the progression. Use referencing carefully too: “this” in “this has convinced customers” could be made more specific.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.5
You use a reasonably varied vocabulary for the topic, including “urbanization,” “high-rise apartments,” “natural green spaces,” and “migrated,” and your meaning remains clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “played a crucial role” and “rising demand.” However, some choices are imprecise or unnatural, which limits flexibility and collocational control: “supply sufficient households” would be better expressed as providing enough housing, while “bombarded with the demands” is an awkward fit for this context. “Luxurious facilities” and “tennis courtyard” are also less natural than more precise alternatives. Check spelling as well: “availablity” should be “availability.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5
You attempt a useful mix of complex and simple structures, including clauses beginning “since,” “when,” and “which,” and most sentences communicate the intended meaning. Some grammatical errors remain, however. In “companies … are bombarded with the demands of people to built,” the infinitive should be “to build”; in “apartments … which requires,” the verb should agree with the plural noun (“require”). The sentence “Few people demand that they require villas” has an awkward clause structure, and “the municipal corporations are focusing … by laying out plans” would benefit from clearer construction. Review subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries, especially in longer sentences. More consistently accurate complex sentences would make your argument easier to follow.
