Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern and fast time, the best way to provide sufficient homes in large cities is to build big apartment block. I partially argee with this view because if they build tall apartment then those who come from rural area they get better option of living in cities, meanwhile society should suffer from so much noise pollution and taffic conjection.
On the one hand, tall apartment providing enough homes in mininal space of area, which can be better of rural people who just come for job opportunity and educational purpose. Furthermore, the price of large building was slightly cheaper then private house, whereas many people who can not afford house so they can buy or take rental home in average amount. For example, in urban area it quite diffcult to manage large number of population in house, therefore with help of hall apartment people can live freely. In addition, if a person came from village for theri job in that case they can buy rental home in budget friendly, whereas, if large cities are full of houses then it creat trouble to people stay their due to price are high.
On the other hand, many builders are taking high range of amount of one apartment for that govenment should involves in this and made this project cost freindly. For instance, if tall building build by government sector then they provide it in half of amount of original price. Due to this countryside people can move in large cities and get better way of lifestyle like, medicial facilities, eductional facilities, better food option and so on. However, many people are seeking of good lifestyle due to high price of house and apartment they do travel around 50 to 60 kms daily.
In conclusion, it is best way to provide sufficent homes in large cities through build tall buildings, whereas I believe that if tall apartment build by government rather than private companies then it is easier for community to buy own house or rental house because they price ratio will automatically down. Subsequently, people get best life of living with so much opportunity and facilites to grow more.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear, though qualified, position: you partly agree that tall apartment blocks can provide homes, while arguing that government involvement is needed to make them affordable. The response includes relevant points about using limited urban space, housing costs, and access to city services. However, the discussion does not fully develop the disadvantages suggested in the introduction, such as noise and traffic, and the second body paragraph largely returns to affordability and lifestyle rather than examining a distinct counterargument. Some claims, including that government-built apartments would cost half as much, need explanation or support. Develop each reason with a clearer link to whether high-rise construction is the best solution.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help identify its sections. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from space-saving to prices, then population and rural workers without clearly connecting each point. “On the other hand” introduces government pricing, which does not directly contrast with the earlier benefits, and repeated use of “whereas” creates awkward links. Some references, such as “they” and “this,” are not immediately clear. Group related ideas, use more precise referencing, and make each paragraph develop one main reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “noise pollution,” “traffic congestion,” “educational facilities,” and “population,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less precise: “big apartment block,” “rental home,” “price ratio,” and “better way of lifestyle” are unnatural in context. There are also repeated spelling errors, such as “sufficent,” “diffcult,” and “eductional.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a bank of accurate housing and urban-planning phrases, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences and use clauses with “because,” “if,” and “whereas,” but complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. For example, “tall apartment providing enough homes” lacks a correctly formed main verb, while “if tall building build by government sector” is missing both an appropriate passive verb form and an article. Subject–verb agreement and tense are also inconsistent, as in “the price … was” and “they price ratio will.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly where several ideas are joined by commas. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking verb forms, articles, and agreement.
