Student answer (Band 5.5)
This essay explains the greatest way to accomodate maximum number of population in cities by creating societies with huge number of appartments. I totally agree with the statement as this will add reach to people to own a home and if more individuals living at same area, this will be also good in terms of safety and security.
At present, Its person's dream of his life to build a home where he could live peacefully with his family but due to expenses of modern era and high rate of inflation, its makes really difficult to purchase a home so its really good idea to purchase apartment in a good area which would be more economical with lots of benefits.
Secondly, its best to live in apartments where you would sorrounded by large number of people and you can feel a great sense of security. There is proper check and balance on people that whom and when anyone visits the society and multiple cameras installed in each floor of the buildings and these cameras are recording all events and in case of any emergency you can ask for evidences and track back the recordes of the incident and identify the root cause in more efficient way.
However, despite of above advantages, sometimes people have to face some challenges like neighbours behavourial issues, any common sharing in multiple flats e.g water tanks or any manufacturing destruction in one flat may affect others as well.
In conclusion, its wonderfull idea to build more societies in largers cities so that more people would be able to live safley and enjoy good quality of life and have great experiences in less budget.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you totally agree that tall apartment blocks can help accommodate more city residents. You give relevant reasons, especially affordability and the security benefits of living near others, and you acknowledge possible drawbacks such as neighbour disputes and shared facilities. However, the response does not fully develop the central claim about providing enough homes through tall buildings. The affordability point is general, and the security paragraph focuses on cameras and visitor checks rather than explaining how high-rise construction increases housing supply. The disadvantages are also listed briefly without showing how they affect your overall view. To strengthen the response, explain the link between building upwards, limited urban land and the number of homes available, and support each main point with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two supporting paragraphs, a paragraph acknowledging drawbacks and a conclusion. Sequencing is generally clear, and signposts such as “Secondly,” “However” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, some connections are mechanical, and the first body paragraph begins with a broad point about the dream of owning a home without clearly linking it to tall apartment blocks. The long security paragraph combines several ideas—neighbours, cameras, emergencies and evidence—so its progression becomes difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats the general benefits rather than drawing together the argument. Use clearer topic sentences and divide or streamline the security explanation so each paragraph develops one main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “high rate of inflation,” “sense of security,” “cameras” and “emergency.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less natural. For example, “add reach to people to own a home” does not clearly express improved access to housing, while “manufacturing destruction” is unclear in the context of damage to a flat. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “accomodate,” “appartments,” “sorrounded” and “safley.” Aim for precise housing-related terms and check spelling carefully. More accurate phrases such as “increase access to affordable housing” and “structural damage” would make your ideas clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “However” and a conditional idea about what residents can do in an emergency. Nevertheless, grammatical errors occur across the response and sometimes make sentences difficult to process. Examples include “Its person's dream,” “its makes really difficult,” and “where you would sorrounded,” which show problems with sentence structure, verb forms and missing grammatical elements. The long sentence beginning “There is proper check and balance” also contains several clauses joined without clear control, and punctuation around the example of shared facilities is awkward. Work on complete sentence patterns, subject–verb agreement, articles and verb forms, then use shorter sentences when explaining several related details.
