Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued by some people that best way to provide maximum homes in large cities is to build highrise accomodation blocks. Although some might disagree that accomodation should be spacious with this notion, I completely agree that they can reduce space required for making home which directly increase our agricultal land benifits. Not only because of parks will not be destroyed and infrastructure developmet expenses can be saved, but also because of there will be no food shortage.
There are multiple benifits associated with for maximum homes large cities is to build highrise building for apartments. Firstly, parks will not be destroyed and people can go to parks and maintain their healthy lifestyle. As if buildings were not highrise thay will expands and parks can be eliminated. For Example, in DHA Lahore phase 6 there is no park in the block D, because their highrise buildings are not allowed. Thus, the supporter of this view support their findings back their analysis with valid arguments.
Secondly, there will be no food shortage. As if there will be proper agricultural land so it will be provide benifits of food. For instance, in China they build tall buildings in their cities and there is no agricultural land in their nearby cities area so they cant manange their own crops and vegtables. Hence, this view also carry a lot weightage.
However, according to my point of view high buildings can provide maximum homes in large cities and people can get large cities facilities in budget friendly apartments.
To sum up, even though i believe that buildings should be highrise with spacious parks around.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear in the opening: you “completely agree” that high-rise housing can provide more homes, and the response stays focused on urban housing and land use. You also give reasons and examples, including parks and agricultural land. However, the argument is only partially developed. The link between tall buildings and preserving parks is not fully explained, and the China example is confusing: saying there is “no agricultural land” nearby does not clearly support the claim that high-rise construction prevents food shortages. The conclusion introduces “spacious parks around” without resolving how this fits with the earlier points. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and use examples that directly support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so there is some organisation, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “To sum up” help identify the main stages. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The opening combines parks, infrastructure costs and food shortages, but the body does not develop all these points; infrastructure costs are not discussed again. Several links are awkward or unclear, such as “As if buildings were not highrise” and “Hence, this view also carry a lot weightage.” The example about China also does not connect clearly to the claim before it. Give each paragraph one main reason, explain it in sequence, and use linking phrases only where the relationship is clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “agricultural land,” “infrastructure,” “apartments” and “healthy lifestyle,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated or used inaccurately, including “highrise,” “benifits” and “maximum homes.” Some word combinations are difficult to understand, such as “agricultural land benifits” and “carry a lot weightage.” Spelling errors, including “accomodation,” “developmet” and “vegtables,” are noticeable and reduce the clarity and control of the vocabulary. Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe land as being “preserved for agriculture” rather than referring vaguely to its benefits.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of sentence forms, including a concession in “Although some might disagree” and a concluding sentence beginning “even though.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Although some might disagree that accommodation should be spacious with this notion” has an unclear clause structure, while “there will be no food shortage” is not supported by a grammatically clear explanation. There are also problems with agreement and verb forms, as in “this view also carry” and “it will be provide.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement, articles and complete sentence structure.
