Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a position in the introduction—“building tall aparat is the best way”—and return to the need for housing in the conclusion. You also give relevant reasons, including population growth, limited urban land, environmental effects, health, and safety. However, the response only partly develops the question: it does not clearly explain why tall blocks are the best way compared with alternatives, and the opposing points are mentioned without being weighed against your position. Several claims, such as apartments being “convenient and comfortable” or causing health issues, need explanation or a specific example. Make your degree of agreement explicit and develop two or three reasons with clear supporting details.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, and the second body paragraph signals a contrast with “On the other hand.” This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: ideas about population growth, modern life, congestion, land, and apartment benefits are crowded together, while the environmental and safety points are not fully connected to the argument. Linking phrases such as “As a result of discussion” are awkward or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas, and “where” is repeatedly used in ways that make connections unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain it and link it explicitly to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “congested,” “population,” “environment,” and “safety,” and you try to express both advantages and disadvantages. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, such as “land is becoming more quite and complex to live” and “living of people is change.” Spelling errors are also frequent, including “recenet,” “afforable,” “aparat,” and “enviroment,” which reduce clarity. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, use “urban land is scarce” and “high-rise apartments can accommodate more residents” rather than the unclear phrases in the response.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic connectors to relate ideas, but sentence structures are limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “some people belives,” “Everyone wants live,” and “population also increase,” where agreement or verb forms are incorrect. Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “has become an debateable issue” and the run-on opening sentence. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clauses such as “because” and “although.” Check subject–verb agreement, infinitives after “want,” articles, and punctuation when editing.
